Unterkunft war super sauber und europäisch, kann ich nur empfehlen. Besitzerin ist sehr hilfsbereit. Zum beachten ist nur, man braucht ein Leihauto, das ist unbedingt erforderlich. Der Urlaub war perfekt.

The property was beautifully maintained with a lovely eating area overlooking the ocean, surrounded by lush tropical garden and a pool to dip in to escape the heat. Rooms are spacious, lovely decorated and very comfortable king bed. Best part on top of all this is the Hostess Valerie who makes you feel like family. Nothing is too much for her, and s beautiful breakfast daily available with other guests and Valerie felt like we were visiting friend rather than staying on our holidays. Highly recommend, merci beaucoup Valerie.

Excellent stay, place is so nice and clean and well kept. Hosts, Valerie et Lauren are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. You do need a car to get to the place and to get around. The drive up to the place on a hill could be challenging for weak driver.

Que dire ! Foncer et réserver en toute confiance. L’hébergement correspond exactement au descriptif et le petit déjeuner est excellent. Mais surtout : vous pouvez compter sur Valerie et Laurent qui vous donnerons pleins de conseils sur la Polynésie et d’aide. Merci à vous deux et à très bientôt.

What a beautiful place to land when flying into Papeete! Valerie the owner was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed at all times! Only wish we had booked a longer stay! The wonderful breakfast in the morning and quiet area with beautiful ocean views was fantastic! Was a little hard to find in the dark, but a wonderful home feel with good air conditioning, swimming pool daily breakfast and family charm!

This is my second visit to Tahiti and my second time staying at Maison Taina. Valerie and Laurent are wonderful hosts. If you are looking for top notch hospitality and want to feel welcome, stay here. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was perfect for both my visits. It is worth the extra few minutes’ drive from the airport to Maison Taina! We will be coming back to FP and will definitely book with them again next time.

Valérie, her husband Laurent and her son Tom were all very welcoming and helpful. Valerie has contacts for anything you need. The outdoor kitchen is well stocked with spices and utensils for cooking your own lunch or dinner. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh breads,croissants fresh tropical fruit and cooked eggs plus juice, tea or coffee. The pool looked very inviting but we didn’t use it on this trip. The room was spotless.

Maison Taina is located in the hills above Papeete. It is an attractive two storey property that catches refreshing breezes and has fabulous views of the reef. Accessing the rooms upstairs for people with limited mobility could be an issue but there was plenty of help for me with suitcases.You definitely need a car to access food from stores, restaurants etc that are close by but not within walking distance or you need to stock up on food supplies before you get to the property. A taxi fare from the port to the property cost US $30.00.From the property to the airport US$50.00. My room and bathroom were spacious and featured a balcony with outdoor seating.Valerie was very happy to provide anything needed. The breakfast was served in the pool house which is there for the guests to use. It has a large fridge for guests' food, filtered water, a dining table and chairs and even fresh free bananas from the garden. Breakfast is served here every morning consisting of fresh fruit and delicious pastries and wonderful, authentic, french coffee. Wine is also available to purchase. The pool is refreshing and maintained to a high level.I really enjoyed my stay here due to Valerie's friendliness and helpfulness and the opportunity to meet other guests in the other three rooms. A great base for sightseeing in Tahiti or for me a lovely place to just relax after a cruise and before a flight home.Thank you so much to Valerie and her lovely family for looking after me so well. The owners were so incredibly helpful and friendly. Clean room, comfortable bed. Great view. Highly recommended. Will stay here again next time in Tahiti.

This was our favorite location on the island of Tahiti. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the lodging was very comfortable, with A/C, a very nice pool, and a lovely breakfast served by the host. It was probably the best value of any place we rented during our trip. If i ever return to Tahiti I will most definitely stay here!
