This is a comfortable hotel in a spacious old mansion on a leafy quiet street a few minutes by taxi from the train station and a block or so from where the cobblestones of the old city start. If you have walking problems, get a room on the first floor, as the winding stairs were very challenging for me and my cane. The decor is deco, nouveau and shabby chic, the breakfast is good, and Alexandra, the owner, and other staff are very nice and helpful. You can walk to the historic cathedral and plaza, the art museum, and many other tourist sites in just a few minutes. The seldom available cell phone provider and shops like bennett and me are all a minute walk away. And a very popular outdoor eating area with all kinds of ethnic and german food directly in front of the lovely old city gate, oddly it houses a McDonald's and is known as McDonald's Gate. Avoid dormer rooms up the winding stairs on the third floor unless you're in student age and want a groovy youth hostel aerie vibe. You can eat at the colombia if you want uber luxe, but I liked this relaxed accommodation.

In order to explore the black forest, we stayed at this hotel. The hotel was excellent. The staff was incredibly welcoming and proficient in English, and they are glad to assist in any manner, from recommending restaurants to recommending places to go to. The second-floor bedroom was quite spacious, spotless, spotless, and peaceful. Although there is no elevator, the staff is happy to assist with your luggage. Although there is no tea or coffee-making station, there is a nicely-stocked minibar offering drinks at an affordable price. There is free WiFi. We enjoyed breakfast for the entirety of our three-week European travels. There was a lot of variety, and it was excellent. Since parking wouldn't have been difficult otherwise, we had reserved covered parking on the hotel grounds, which costs 9 euros a night. Frazburg, where the hotel is only a 5-minute walk away, is situated on a calm treeline road. I would have no qualms about suggesting this hotel.

We spent four nights at this hotel and thought it was ideal. It is charming and has a laid-back ambiance. The location is strategically strategic, only a short walk from the city center and a quiet and leafy street. We found that the room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, we found the breakfast room to be very calm and peaceful which was nice. We will be back

Our room was quite large with high ceilings. This is an old building with creaking floors. Parking is available but very crowded. Breakfast. Very good. No elevator.
