The main photo of this location used by TripAdvisor isn't actually the hostel's photo. If we knew what it actually looked like, would we have made a reservation? I might have, but I did feel a little misled. This location probably only attracts business because it's inexpensive, can cater for large stag parties, and is close to the action of the Reedbahn. Like the Reedbahn, it's not the most elegant or clean place to stay, but that's about it, I suppose. German humor can be cutthroat! The reception's opening hours were a little difficult to fathom, and most of the utilities were locked in there, such as the iron, hairdryer, etc.. The rooms were adequate but in some ways rickety and won't win any awards. However, the showers were wonderful, and they were nice to wash off the previous evening. Would I return here? In the right circumstances, I suppose.

This hostel is located on the Reeperbahn with a lot of pubs all along the stretch. The room is very basic with bunk beds in the three levels, mini table, to, fridge, and bathroom. The sound insulation is bad, a lot of drunks partying people next door and arriving home around 1 am. Wifi connection is intermittent

I stayed here for a stag party. Nothing special, only a bed to sleep in after a long night. Rooms are basic. Watch out for triple bunk beds, which are very uncomfortable if your blisters. No curtains in the room, which makes the room feel very bright.

It's not all that special, because it was close to the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg and within walking distance of the metro station. Paul, for the last one, it was fine. You could as well sleep peacefully on the streets, it may become less difficult. First, it's impossible to check in or out during the scheduled reception hours. You just have to be fortunate to find someone at the reception desk at the time you need them. After RP, there is no one in charge in the hostel. That might be fine, but it also meant that nobody would stop all those drunk british teens from partying all night long.. What could have been fine without those tiny walls and the fact that you had to get out of the room to get to your private bathroom. That was good, spotless, and not too awful given that you remained in a party hostel. At the end, there's at least one pleasant aspect! You can get fantastic coffee across the street! It's an amazing product no admonished.
