Cocoon Theresienwiese was a pleasant surprise. We booked a room for 4 people (two adults, two teens). The room was huge compared to what we were expecting. The was a queen bed for my husband and I and two bunks for the kids. The curtain separating the bunk area from the rest of the room was a nice touch. There was also a small sofa, kitchen table with 4 chairs, a kitchenette, bench seat and closet area. The bathroom had a roomy shower and the hair dryer came with a diffuser! (Curly haired girls, you know how valuable this is). The property appeared to be quite new and there was a very large business area as well as a hang out/cafe style area on the first floor, with an adorable tree house for families travelling with smaller kids. There appeared to be a single person manning the tiny check-in desk area during the main parts of the day and there was someone in the cafe area in the mornings if you wanted to purchase food. Coffee was complimentary. The was a bakery on the ground floor (not affiliated with the hotel), that had all of the standard German Bäckerei breakfast and snack choices. This was where we generally grabbed something before heading out for the day. My only critique is that it is a bit further from that Markenplatz area and any dining options (other than the bakery), than we would have liked. But it wasn't a terrible walk, maybe 20 minutes, and if we were really tired at the end of the day, we caught a taxi or uber back.

The hotel is very new and therefore in really good shape. The sound insulation is good, which we could tell despite it being a quiet period for occupancy at the hotel. The cleaning staff are very helpful and accommodating should you need them. The sustainability aims of the hotel in not automatically cleaning your room unless you request it is I think a very smart idea, needless cleans aggravate me! The location of the hotel is convenient and the area is a nice one at this time of year (Spring). The bakery downstairs is great, although I'm not keen on their coffee (but that's me being a coffee snob!). The hub / reception is very relaxed and has some food and drink that can be purchased should it be needed. We appreciated the ability to buy pasta and sauce from. There on the first night as we got it later than expected and were hungry! We did ask for a replacement light bulb for the lower bunk bed and were told this would be dealt with the next day. It wasn't. We didn't follow up as it wasn't essential, but they are very relaxed so if you need something done, you'll need to be a little bit more proactive/persistent about it. The kitchen was good but lacks an oven, there was only a hob and microwave. An oven would be ideal. Is what it is! All in all, a very comfortable stay in a new city for us. We would happily stay there again.

Good location. 30 mins walk from centre. 5 mins to ubahn. Supermarket, bars, cafes 5 mins walk. Fantastic accomodation. Free flavoured water, fruit, games for kids a lively touch. Would highly recommend.

Stayed as a family of 4 (2 teenagers). Excellent hotel - we were in a club room which was ideal for us with bonus of a small kitchen area and fridge in room. Bakery downstairs for breakfast croissants/rolls. 5 mins walk to nearest u-bahn with easy access to city centre. Aldi near the u-bahn station for supplies. Staff all helpful and liked the quirkiness of the bar area. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean room and exceptionally comfortable bed. Nice and powerful shower with lovely smelling shampoo and shower gel. Five minute walk to Poccistaße U-Bahn.

We loved our stay at Cocoon Theresienwiese in Munich. The Club House room was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed to self cater. There’s a supermarket around the corner and it’s only a short train ride into Munich.

清潔だけでなく本当に過ごしやすかったです。駅から10分ほどですが(気持ちは7分ほど)ホテルの目の前にバスが来るので電車よりバスでよく移動してました。下にはパン屋さんがあって、施設も綺麗、スタッフも素晴らしいおもてなしでした！ありがとうございました！
