The hotel is well placed, as the walk to the harbor is only 5 minutes, making it a lovely place to stay. The rooms are spotless and clean, and the dogs are friendly. Breakfast is excellent. There is a great wellness massage treatment. However, there isn't any romantic element. The bar and lounge are dismal, so brightening up the furniture to get rid of the dark brown armchairs would be helpful. Although it would have been a good idea to partner with a restaurant in the shopping center across the street will have been made for a reason, dining there isn't a particularly interesting idea. Depending on your taste for something other than straightforward tourist fare, there are at least a few restaurants in greetsiel, by the harbor, which are better than Fest Land, which has received high praise.
