I picked this place solely because of how close it was to a factory I had to visit for two days. Its not by any means a flash hotel, nor did I hope it to be at the price, but it was clean, neat, tidy, and run with German efficiency. There is a small bar and restaurant and the little food I ate there was reasonable enough, and the included breakfast was adequate. The only drawback for me was the wifi, which didn't reach as far as my room no. 4, and despite the non-smoking rooms, the bar's smoke waft up the stairs into the hallways and was quite pungent. On the plus side, it's located in a lovely part of town and is on the tram line that runs directly to Altstadt, a beautiful old part of town that only took ten minutes or so.

A very nice two-star hotel with no amenities that could receive a higher rating, situated in a nice area of town and on the tram line for easy access to Altstad. The rooms are clean, comfy and well-maintained with the amenities you would expect. Noise is not a problem because rooms do not face the street. Wifi is available in the lobby but does not reach the rooms. 24-hour access is not an option as far as I could tell, fortunately I returned to the hotel each night before the restaurant closed. There are no safes or deposit boxes for the storage of passports or travel money. This is an old hotel and is not accessible for handicapped. Breakfasts are simple cold cereal, bread, spreads, cheeses, meats, fruit, and yogurt. On Sunday morning, it seemed as if I were the only guest because a place was set out for me and no one else appeared. Service can be slightly off with things not available or not being able to top up your coffee. Parking is not as simple as advertised, there are several spaces in front of the hotel, but this is a residential area where parking is expensive. Expect to drive around in search of a place. The hotels major business is a restaurant downstairs serving Mediterranean cuisine. The checkout was difficult as no one there speaks English, it took 15 minutes and I don't know what the manager tried to tell
