The setting is extremely peaceful and serene because it is situated on the outskirts of town on the edge of a vineyard where the grapes may grow to make more wine. We had plenty of parking space, and the beautifully painted house was easily accessible by foot. There is a small yet adequate kitchen for visitors to use, as well as a furnished terrace outside for eating, enjoying an evening beer, or one of the fantastic local wines in the day. The upstairs bedrooms are a reasonable size, spotless, and fresh, with a great security, wardrobe, table, and chairs, all with a fantastic view. You are assured to get a good nights sleep with comfortable beds and clean, fresh linen, surrounded by such peaceful surroundings. Breakfast consists of freshly cooked eggs, fresh croissants, and a variety of delicious beers or wines. Simply mark the honesty sheet with room number and beers taken, and pay at checkout. On our return from a day out, we could choose from a variety of wonderful beers or wines stocked in the fridge to enjoy a relaxing drink on the terrace and watch the sun set over the hillside to the west. We also had lots of great restaurants that offered a decent selection of beers and wines. Arriving at these establishments hungry, and there is a good selection of fresh food piled high. This is a wonderful guesthouse in rolling countryside with great views
