I finally got the room, it was OK, I arrived earlier than expected, booked in wasn't until 1600 I arrived at 1600. Someone was at the hotel but didn't appear until 1600. Access was via a rough unpaved road which is not good on a motorcycle. That's the bad point. The restaurant was ok, not a big menu, but what was there was good. Beer was good and cold, and breakfast was good.

The employees were friendly, and even though our German wasn't very good, we were able to communicate well enough to get by. The guest rooms were simple but comfortable. We all had a good night's sleep and were prepared for the next day. That night we ate dinner in the dining room. The food was typical Bavarian, but the apple strudel was the greatest any member of our group had. Simply because of that, I'd return. Breakfast was also typical European with plenty of cheese, cold cuts of meat, and bread the next morning. The bottom line is that this location is far off the beaten path. If you're looking for something fancy and close to activities, this isn't the place to go. If youre looking for a comfortable night of good food at a very reasonable price, you can't beat it.

It was perfect for our needs. We stayed in one of the newer rooms. They are now done and I thought very nice for the price. It is in the country which we love. A small lake with a lot of fishing. Evidently family-run. A young daughter took us to our room. You can't get into your room until 4. We arrived early and were delighted that they have a very reasonable restaurant and a number of ice cream specialties. Good food, not excellent, but the price is very reasonable. Indoor and outdoor seating. A good place to wait for your room. I didn't see any of the older rooms. The newer rooms are more expensive but still much less expensive than those closer to the airport. I'm based my ratings on the new rooms. Breakfast was not included and it was above our budget. It is a log-in system rather than joining a network. Once used for one device, all others can't use it and you only receive 1. Our room was spacious, clean, and energy efficient. It was our night before our flight home.
