During the town of Weihnactsmarkt, I stayed here for two nights. Although the rooms are a little antiquated, our apartment had a balcony and was large enough for my family of two adults and two toddlers. There is no tub in the shower, but there is plenty of hot water. Although it is close to the train line, I couldn't see it with the windows closed. The brunch was a little spartan, especially when the dinners were pretty incredible See a separate review of Family Restaurant. Although there is no internet either, it was well worth staying here and driving to Strasbourg, which is 30 minutes away. Oberkirch is also attractive. Free parking, and a very welcoming staff that spoke fairly English.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2014 and the place was lovely. Hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to speak German to us because we can't speak German. The rooms were clean and bright. It seems that they are more of a restaurant than a hotel because of the high demand at night. The local town is only a short walk down the river and offers amazing views, plenty of pubs and restaurants. This tiny town is very friendly. Only one small complaint about this hotel. We came on Tuesday and the place closed all day after breakfast until the following day, just us and our room, no nighttime restaurants or bars. My only complaints about this hotel was that when I arrived on Monday, the restaurant was closed and stayed in a quiet, bustling town than the town was across the street.

The personnel were very warm and welcoming. The room had a reasonable size bed. The temperature outside was below zero, and the shower was quite hot and powerful. Although the breakfast was limited, it was adequate. Despite having a tiny balcony, the room was too cold for us to enjoy. Although I was unable to try the restaurant, it appears to be a popular destination with many visitors. If I ever visit this area, I would stay there again.

Even though the hotel has a busy restaurant, which is something we can check out, we got a good one night stay, with a helpful and friendly staff. Also, the room looks new and clean.

We ended up staying here for one night while traveling to Zurich. The rooms and bathrooms are of good size, and the beds are all very clean and comfortable. The temperature during our stay was very high, so air conditioning would have been nice. Breakfast buffets have a reasonable selection. Our only minor complaint was that we were not given the bonus card that would allow free use of the area's public transport, but since we were just there for one night, it wasn't an issue much. If we could stay there again, we would.
