Another visit to one of the most beautiful valleys in the world with a warm and kind greeting from our host. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The room had plenty of space, a balcony and large comfortable beds, the hotel was warm and comfortable, and the food plentiful and delicious. We searched the area, finding new easy walks and new towns to explore, and always came home to our comfortable rooms and a friendly welcome. Excellent value for the money and much less than we anticipated. Our host organized a wonderful evening at a local farm for a cheese pasta tasting evening, a visit to a local farm to watch the cows being milked and cheese making, and a wonderful barbecue evening inside the hotel because it was raining. They couldn't do anything more to keep us engaged and make our stay enjoyable.

The rooms are large and clean. The food was of good quality, nothing really special, just honest dishes. The breakfast buffet could use a bit more variety. Nice quiet spot just outside of town. Points to improve the warm water facility cannot cope at peak hours, be prepared for a cold shower it takes a long time for dishes to get out of the kitchen.

We looked for a place to stop while traveling between Munich and Lumen. We did some searching, but this was the last time our satnav let us down. The owner of this hotel is very kind and attentive. She gave us a discount for the room we stayed in.

What a fantastic place to stay! Excellent food, picturesque surroundings, amiable people, and breathtaking views. Excellent for families and lots to do for all the family. Great barbecue night and visits to the local cheese farm and hut in the mountains. Will stay again as soon as I can. highly advised.

I visit this hotel for lunch every time I cross the riedberg pass. I have never had any issues like other reviews on this blog. The employees are very nice, and they provide excellent food.
