We had a lovely time at Höhengasthaus Kolmenhof. The location is beautiful with lots of nice hiking paths around the property. There was as indoor and an outdoor playground for the kids which were great!!! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 2 adults plus 2 small children and nicely decorated. The only down side is that the restaurant closes for 2 nights a week so one must organize an alternative on these days (they were helpful with good suggestions nearby).

Super accueil. Belle balade facile à faire dans le coin. Les truites sont excellentes. Chambre comfortable. Moyennant 10euros vous pouvez aller au sauna qui est prévu pour 2 personnes.

Haben das Hotel als Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge in der Umgebung genutzt. Sehr familienfreundliche Gastgeber, Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Speiseangebot und Frühstück mit allem was dazu gehört. Ist etwas ab vom Schuss aber direkt am Westweg, 2.5km bis zum Brend Aussichtsturm.

We have stayed here twice. The motel is clean and comfortable. The restaurant has good food and excellent beer. The breakfast was delicious and they served coffee to you. There are lovely hikes nearby and many people riding bicycles. The family is very kind and helpful. The guesthouse is about 30 mins from the tribe.

We stayed at the Kolmenhof ahead of our planned bike trip from the dances source to Budapest and back. The official dances source is directly outside this hotel, making it a very convenient hotel to start our adventure. The said family was quite warm and helpful to us, giving us excellent local advice and allowing us lots of flexibility when booking a return trip at the hotel. The kolmenhof staff was also really nice and did everything they could to assist with small matters like digging out a uk plug adapter we hadnt forgotten! We want to express our gratitude to Julie, who promptly remembered the glutenfree bread requirement. The room is of a variety of sizes, some are large enough for families. Our room was nice with a view directly over the dance source. The hotels setting is wonderful, it would be challenging to find a place as tranquil, and the black forest is a wonderful backdrop. The food and breakfast in the restaurant, as well as the service, were excellent. We would undoubtedly suggest this hotel and would love to return. It is a fantastic spot to walk through the forest on mountain bikes or to stroll and just enjoy the peace and natural surroundings. We appreciate Katherine and Chrysm for their excellent hosts once more.

We just came without reservation to use the new pop up camping in this beautiful location. The owners have a few spots for a night camp for camper vans or tents for a very reasonable price if you have their breakfast very good and reasonably priced too. The hotel itself looked good if you want a bit more luxury but we were really happy to have had dinner there which was lovely. Our hosts were great and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

This place is in a lovely rural setting that is quiet and welcoming. The rooms are warm and serene. The breakfast selection is very good, with good quality. Dinner, especially during the summer, is also very good. A special mention should go to the family who runs the show because they are very kind and kind.

We had a lovely stay at Kolmenhof. They offer the large suite, spacious, clean, with good beds and functional bathrooms. So peaceful night. The food was great and try the food. So friendly owner staff we sure come back.
