Overall, i was pleased and would return. I had a great time here. For a fee, they offered early checkin. It cost 30 euros, in my opinion. I had the family room, a double room with a door that led to a childrens room with a tent and twin beds. The rooms were roomy and not overly cramped. The location was excellent, with a wide variety of food and drink options. I discovered that places close early. On the back side of the building, towards the east, there is a hole in the wall bar. They also offer the usual hotel bar and food. The restrooms were excellent, with extremely hot water and pressure. The us would not allow that much pressure and 160 degrees of hot water. I was shocked to learn that it was a thing of europeans. Boy do they adore grohe. A parking garage is accessible for about 15 euros per day. Thank you.

The location is great and the facilities are adequate for a Hilton. The staff were very friendly, but the reception was not very helpful or flexible. I arrived at 2 pm and was told to wait 45 minutes for the room, which was perfectly fine. However, when i checked in 45 minutes later i was told i had to pay 1 hour extra parking in addition to the 24 hour rate. Despite this not being mentioned on the Hilton muenchen city website or app or when i arrived, they insisted on the extra payment. That would have been the difference between friendly staff and truly caring and helpful staff.

Ive stayed here many times over the years and thought it was finally time to write a review after my stay this week. The location is great, walking distance to the city center in a peaceful neighborhood and with a direct lift to the shinshin station below. The rooms are comfortable, spacious enough and wellequipped, with good quality bedding and towels. I like that the window can be opened wide enough to let some air in. Heating / air conditioning seems old and takes a long time to work, but it does work. When i arrived, the basin in my bathroom was completely blocked, so i didnt know how the cleaners missed it, but it was resolved quickly once i reported it. Breakfast has a lot less variety than it used to have years ago, but it is still quite good and the staff here are very nice. Pretzels were only available on one of the three days i stayed this time, which seems to be an oversight in bavaria! There is a separate breakfast area in the restaurant for diamond members. I have never loved the new bar after the refurbishment. They have gone for a highend cocktail bar atmosphere, which is fine, but not particularly relaxing compared to the traditional lobby bar it replaced. Service can be hit or miss and the lights have an odd flickering effect which i find annoying. The executive lounge is popular and you have to go early if you want to go to the happy hour every day, which includes free beer, wine, snacks and small salads. There is a small but neat fitness center and a new selfservice shop in the lobby minibars are now empty. The reception, restaurant and cleaning staff are all very friendly and helpful and all speak good english. Despite a few niggles, i will continue to come back here because it has the important things right (comfortable rooms, beds and a decent breakfast, the staff are very good, the location is great and i get a good nights sleep.
