When we came to southern Europe, we decided to stay here. We were looking for a very nice, old german rathaus that we liked, and from the outside it appeared to be up for grabs. Once inside, it was sadly overrun with mold and had no character left. Had dinner in the bar, which was more cosy than the huge dining area, which looked more like a congress centre. The room, which was so plain and lilting, overlooked a lovely church. The apartment was really basic and charmless, and it had a lovely outlook on the church. We were shocked when someone started to walk in the room above us who was on the top floor, which we assumed was the greatest, and unfortunately, we were unable to sleep. I dont know if there is a flat on the loft, but anyone who walks up there should be more considerate of the paying visitors below. We went for a walk in the village in the evening, there is nothing else to do here, this rathaus is it.

If you are traveling on the a and want to avoid the bright life and lights of hamburg but would like to experience real Germany, try boettchers. Its a rathaus, not a 3 or 4 star hotel. I nearly stayed there as I needed to stop on my way further north and I was there! Sighted by this place. The rooms are simple but well decorated. The restaurant is great and serves excellent local specialties. On a somewhat dull midweek autumn evening we ate there and were delighted to see the place full of locals enjoying the food and atmosphere. All the staff were efficient and charming. Here you can enjoy very reasonably priced accommodation combined with good food and a pleasant ambiance in traditional German.

This hotel was lovely. The interior style of this hotel was very unique. We have a bar with wonderful artwork and furniture. The restaurant had a classic German ambience. The room style is very different from the modern design here, they have a bar and tube that has a lot of class. But i really enjoyed my stay here.
