The hotel is in the main historic center, close to the railway station, cathedral, street with shops, cafes and restaurants. I booked 3 rooms and each one was clear. There is not much space in the bathroom, so it's hard to move there. Breakfast was not as good as I wanted, but acceptable anyway. Reception works during special hours.

Some locals suggested this hotel and it was perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, particularly fresh rolls, and the staff bent over backward to help me after I fell on the train. They were truly kind and caring. Although the hotel is close to a barn, the central station or dom is not near, as another reviewer stated. The central station is about a 15-minute drive away, or you can take a local train there. The Burgerhof is about a 22-minute drive away. The only drawback for me was the lack of an elevator. After my accident, it was difficult to climb the stairs. I would without a doubt return to this hotel. The price was fair and the service was outstanding.

I don't believe it's worth 120 euros more a night in a room like one you will find at a hostel, despite the fact that the location is incredible. Our room was covered in mosquitoes, and we were bitten to death at night. In Germany in October, you wouldn't anticipate mosquitoes in a hotel room. I did kill a few, but there were a lot more to make me and my husband look like something out of the black plague. Still itching. There was a safe in the room, but there was no safe, and the room wasn't the cleanest. Breakfast is extremely basic continental. Again, it is normal in a hotel, but everyone else's English was excellent. When we left before dawn, no one was there, and check-in times were very limited and not airport-friendly, only to be able to leave your luggage. I apologize and will not suggest it at all.
