The chiemsee lake is right in front of your door. Free wifi and free parking. The romermuseum medium is next door. We had a suite, which is basically two standard rooms combined. The living room had a desk chair, a wardrobe, a clubchair table, a flat screen, a sofa that can be turned into a second bed, and a separate bathroom with washbasin and shower toilet. The bedroom had a good double bed, a wardrobe, and a second separate bathroom with washbasin and shower toilet. Everything was really clean. We also had a small patio with table chairs and a view of the garden. The windows can be opened and have mosquito screens. There is no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a wide variety and fresh fruits. We recommend hotel grand chiemsee to anyone looking for a nice night's sleep in a quiet lakeside area.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy, everything worked, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast in a curiously unique room downstairs was excellent, with typical cold meat, cheese, etc. and plenty of it, replenished frequently by the friendly personnel. I walked down to the lake to take a stroll and was blown away by the views and wild birds. It's a beautiful and quiet place. At the front desk, there was always a friendly greeting. A quick check-in and we were taken to our room, which was sizable. The hotel was spotless and clean, everything functioned, and the bed was comfy.

It is within walls to see and see the activities on the lake and Seebruck, positioned on the CHEMsee lake. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The rooms have been renovated but my room was not very comfortable. I would give it 610 from a comfort perspective. I can say that the pillow is uncomfortable 410 the bed is acceptable 510 the dust in the room is plentiful and even spiders are welcome in the room 310. The breakfast room is nice and clean 810 the food variety is 610 overall rating 610 can be improved.

I would return here. This is the greatest breakfast I have ever had at a hotel, with a wide selection of cheese, meat, bread, yogurt, and other fillings. Beautiful lakeside location. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Although the nearby restaurants are a little expensive, this place is a great starting point to explore the region.

This is a lovely place to stay. We will be back. The setting is convenient, close to the bike and walking routes, the atmosphere is relaxed and has direct access to the lake, nature preserve, and park. The employees are all very kind and welcoming. They provide exquisite touches such as artwork, decor, breakfast, and other amenities. The offseason price is extremely reasonable.
