We spent one night here for a bike tour. Beautiful place, very cozy. More important, the staff was fantastic. My husband left his helmet behind in a village a few miles away. Yvonne and the chef were very helpful. They asked Willi the owner? To take him back to where he left the helmet he luckily still there. Wonderbar willi! Great food.

In the picturesque village of Friidingen, Hotel Sonny is conveniently situated on the cycle route, approximately 48 am from the start of the Dona cycle route in Donaueschingen, in the charming village of Francis. A suitable first staging spot, and a garage for securely storing bikes. The hotel rooms have recently undergone a tasteful renovation in 2017 and have a good quality. The restaurant is also impressive, serving delicious regional cuisine and a hearty breakfast buffet. Family hip and its courteous staff provide exceptional service to their visitors. All things considered, this is an excellent stopover point to recommend.

The rooms have been renovated and rearranged, clean and neat. The staff is very friendly. The food is also great. The hotel has free wifi which is good for work and fun. The area is really beautiful. Thursday is a day off.

We have visited this hotel every year for the weekend since 2004, and each time we have been delighted. It is a family-run business with extremely gracious proprietors and employees who make you feel at home. Check out their homepage for details on how spacious the larger rooms are, which are actually large, with a table, a sofa, and a small balcony. Mattresses are firm. The restaurant has recently undergone renovations. They anticipate every need of their visitors. Many bikers, cyclists, and hikers visit this place for an excursion of the lovely dance valley landscape. They offer something for your comfort, such as an additional room for drying wet clothing or shoes, and numerous folders and books with information and recommendations about the area, among other things. Just inquire, and they will be happy to assist you if you have any special demands or concerns. Fridingen is a small, quiet, but very charming and cozy village. Even if the restaurant is closed on Fridays, there are many nice alternatives within walking distance. The restaurant also has cozy tables outdoors that are roof-protected. Last but not least, there is always free parking close to the hotel.
