The German is a great base for exploring Freiburg and the surrounding area. Our room 1 was spacious, pristine and comfortable. The only thing we could not do was make tea. The front desk staff was wonderful and friendly and spoke English. The breakfast menu was excellent, with traditional German fare available in a lovely breakfast room. Its very strategically located, just 5 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station and the town centre. Would we stay again? Absolutely.

The hotel looks lovely, both on the inside and the exterior. Not far from the city center of Reutlingen, next to the train station, and very easily accessible for Tubing and St. Margaret's Island. The rooms are charming and calm. All the staff and breakfast are delicious.

The staff that run this hotel are very friendly, so I will call my next hotel to arrange a late check-in. The room was clean and pretty big. This is a great hotel, they serve a free breakfast and they have huge bathrooms, this is the best bathroom in Germany.

Overall, a pleasant experience. Very kind employees. Parking costs eur 3 per day, breakfast costs eur 6 per day, average selection and quality. The room is very spacious and has a large bathroom and fully tiled bathroom. Very silent, no disturbances at all. Walking distance to the pedestrian area. A great Italian restaurant directly opposite the pizza costs eur 6, 50. Would suggest a room in the back of the house that is away from the street.

I stay here for one night, and it was totally adequate. The location is good, and the parking is good, it's not comparable to the hotel where we stay in the more tourist areas of Germany. The employees are also very friendly and the breakfast is also good. The rooms were a bit old and ours smelled like cigarette smoke.
