Such a nice and well-located hotel with all that you need. The woman on duty is lovely. We will hardly forget her care and dedication during our breakfast time. From now onwards, we have a place to stay if coming back to Konstanz.

4 nights touring area. Hotel in good location- easy walking distance into town. Free use of excellent public transport. Very good buffet breakfast in nice surroundings. Had 1 evening meal in hotel restaurant- excellent.

This hotel is a must if you're looking for high standards and a personal touch. Just got back from a fantastic 5 day break in continuous. Had a wonderful time at this motel. We were treated a lovely and friendly welcome from the owner, Angela, who made us feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was plentiful, setting us up for the day. The train station, buses, shops, and the lovely lake are all close to this hotel. The evening meal was excellent as well. This traditional family-run hotel is well worth staying at. It was such a pleasure to meet Angela because everyone there was so welcoming and accommodating. Our trip to the hotel was undoubtedly memorable because of this.

I recently got back from a trip to Switzerland and Germany. This is a fantastic family run business. This hotel is old, spotless, and well-maintained. Our room was rather spacious, with cozy beds and oh so clean. The breakfast was delicious, and there were a lot of options. On our last night, we ate here with regularity. The last one we had was saved. dinner was fantastic, with great food and exceptional personal service. A lovely family that makes you feel at home. I heartily endorse this motel.

We stayed here for 6 nights and found this hotel to be exactly what we wanted. We didn't need a taxi from the railway station to the hotel as it was a short walk away. There is no lift at the hotel, the reception is on the first floor and our room is on the second floor so cases had to be carried to these levels. It is a traditional family run hotel with caring service. No air conditioning but a large fan was available in the room. The room was to the back so there was no street noise and it was a suitable size and clean. Breakfast was a good variety and the dining room served as a restaurant on nights. The location is perfect for walking to the station, harbour, shops and all kinds of restaurants.

Overall, a genuine German hospitality experience with lots of character and convenient location. At this hotel, we had a very memorable night. The building is certainly distinctive in pink! When you first enter, you walk up to the reception and restaurant on the first level. We had reserved a parking space, and my husband was shown into their small garage, right underneath the hotel. The hospitality offered here was friendly and unquestionably antiquated. We mostly dealt with two older sisters, who had been doing what they did for many decades. We noticed that most of the other guests were German speakers. They only spoke german, but we did observe that most of the other guests were all german speakers. In the traditional German eatery, a delicious breakfast spread was provided, complete with white tablecloths and tea or coffee, brought to the table on silverware. Our room, presumably recently renovated, was minimalist, modern, and generic, yet warm, clean, and appropriate. The location was fantastic, with plenty of local eateries, a shopping center right next door, and everything was always accessible on foot.

If we stay on a regular basis, we would stay at Goldensterner again. We were reluctant to make a reservation here after seeing Goldensterner listed as a modest one-star hotel on another popular website. We reserved anyway because of the position, availability of parking, and reasonable cost. Despite being on the main road, we missed it because the exterior was changed. Due to their non-responsible phone calls, arrival and parking were challenging. With all the commotion of finding a room, we had to park briefly on the road and then rush to the hotel to get the proprietor open the garage. The room, though a little antiquated, was clean and cozy, ideal for two people and weekend luggage. The shower was small but immaculate, with adequate towels, soap, and hot water. With a variety of breads and rolls, cheeses, and conducts, the breakfast was better than average for a little place. On Sunday, boiled eggs were the only warm meal. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and we were quite satisfied.

Very good accommodation in an old building, which has certain unavoidable disadvantages (curiously shaped rooms, steep and narrow staircases). The room was comfortable and I slept well; the bathroom was rather small and a little dusty in places. Location is excellent for exploring Konstanz, being both in the town centre and close to the railway station. Excellent breakfast with attentive service from the patronne.

Ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, Personal sehr freundlich aber im sehr kleinen Bad hat es einen modrig-bissigen Geruch, den ich mit Schimmel in Verbindung bringe. Bettdecken und Polster von schlechter Qualität und Teppichboden im ganzen Haus. Befremdend waren die vereinzelten Vibrationen, wenn ein LKW vorbeigefahren ist. Frühstücksbuffet wâr reichhaltig und gut.
