Due to my vegan status, we only stayed there for one night and made arrangements to have a vegan menu served. While I was vegan, the hotel staff was very pleasant on the phone and assured us that this was not a problem. When we arrived, the starter and dessert choices were not even completely vegetarian, and instead, they provided beef soup for the starter. When I inquired, the restaurant personnel inquired whether I had an allergy or what was the reason I couldnt eat the rest of the food, which I found to be extremely sensitive. The main meal, pasta with I presume homemade tomato sauce, was quite delicious and was actually vegan. Overall, a pleasant stay, but under the mischievous pretense of a vegan menu. It wouldnt have been useful to merely suggest that they couldnt provide a menu, but simply a main meal would have been acceptable. When I inquired what was wrong, management didnt look aware of any issues and appeared not to take me very seriously. Vendors or vegans should steer clear of this location or avoid using their halbpension option.

The hotel is in an excellent position. I believe this hotel has a very good general manager who really cares about both the guests and the employees. If someone like me is looking for a lovely quiet hotel with excellent service, I must say Hitthim Hotel is the right place.
