Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit aufmerksamen Service, sehr gutes Frühstück in einem herrlich eingerichteten Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf den Park. Neue Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Sehr gerne wieder 🙋‍♀️

Durchreise. Dues war die richtige Entscheidung! Das Hotel ist sehr schön und mit Charme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Park hinter dem Hotel toppt alles.

A large complex is located near the center of Bad Bizgarn. We checked quickly and got a twin room on the first floor located at the back. The room was fine we got two single beds against the wall but the bed was too small for adults. The room was okay we had two single beds on the walls. I should say, a childrens bed. There wasnt enough space between the beds, so small. The room had free wifi, TV, a free bottle of water, a wardrobe and a balcony overlooking the hotel backside. The bathroom is so small and there isnt much room for anything. The towels are not large and the size of a kitchen towel. The small breakfast buffet included in the room rate serves from 7 to 10 am. You have to go down early as it looks like first come first served! Some trays were empty when we got to the breakfast room at 9 pm. The room wasnt worth the price of 82 booked on application. We are just passing through on a journey so for the night it is fine but I will not be returning!.

We spent the night here. We stayed in 2 rooms, one for our son and another for us. First, it was difficult to locate parking outside the hotel. We were able to lock our bicycles in their garage by the hotel. The hotel seems to have not been renovated in a while. The rooms were adequate in size but there were none of the usual amenities you'd anticipate at a hotel. No kettle, no area to make tea of coffee. They provide you with a complimentary bottle of water, but it was warm and not particularly refreshing. The bathroom was roomy. When you first entered, the toilet brush was left in the toilet. The bathroom had a shower in it, but we discovered the shower door on our balcony. There was a horrible brown stain on the wall next to the toilet unsure of what it was, but the bath had a shower inside but the shower door was on our balcony. Duck tape was on the shower hinges, which made it obvious that it was being repaired. The shower gels were empty, but neatly stacked back, the boys said. The brunch was better than we had anticipated. There was a large selection of cereals, breads, yogurts, teas, coffee, eggs, bacon, cold meats, and cheeses. This is my last time staying here.

This was just a brief stopover for us, but we were happy to have chosen this hotel. The room was nice and clean and had a view of the garden. For those staying longer, there is a walking path that goes directly past the outdoor dining area in the back. We had a wonderful traditional supper in the outdoor dining space. Free parking and wifi. I believe it also has a spa.
