Conveniently located, just a block away from the train station. Very walkable area. Generally speaking, not in the 'best' area of Frankfurt but I never felt unsafe. The hotel itself, is in an older historical building, which I loved. Very high ceilings, and lots of airy space. Oversized space in general. The room was very spacious, and the Queen size bed was as comfy, as a harder than usual bed can be. After travelling through Germany, the hard bed seems to be the norm, so I wouldn't call it a hotel issue. The room didn't have air conditioning, but the windows opened right up which gave a nice cross breeze later in the evening. Even with the warmer than average temps' I was never uncomfortably hot. The mini fridge in the room came in handy. Larger than average bathroom, with a larger than average tub - perfect for soaking in after a day on your feet. The room was dusty; lamp + lampshades, and the one light on the desk didn't work. When I opened the tall bureau, dust bunnies came floating out. The young lady at the front desk was extremely sweet. She was easy to talk to, and answered many of my questions about the area, and Germany in general. I really enjoyed my small chats with her. She also expressed how she really enjoyed working at the hotel, which made me feel even better about staying there. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone - it's quiet and calm, and a great place to land after a busy day.

We were so pleased with the Hotel Monopol. Our train was delayed so we missed our connection and needed to overnight in Frankfurt. I booked the hotel and when we arrived, the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and our room was huge! The hotel is older but well kept. Our room overlooked a busy street and had fans for moving cool night air into the space. There were gummy bear candies on each pillow, plenty of towels, and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary water, a soda. and a beer. Beds are comfortable and clean; the bathroom was spotless. Check out was equally easy and friendly. If we’re ever passing through Frankfurt again we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Excelência em serviço, café da manhã fantástico com a proximidade da estação de trem a muita pessoa em situação de vulnerabilidade o que ocorre em todas as grandes cidades pelo mundo. Apartamentos restaurados, limpos janelas anti som . Excelente descanso. Sr for circular pela região entre pela LATERAL da estação plataforma 1. Pois a região está em reforma dificultando a circulação a pé.

Great hotel with a charm of the last century. Very clean, with helpful staff, very nice interiors, and a useful online system. The only downside was the older bathroom, but that was compensated more than once by the very friendly staff.

Charme eines Hotels der Wende zum 20. Jh., aber alles top modern renoviert und die Zimmer neu gemacht, sehr schönes Badezimmer, grandioser Frühstücksraum und ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das nächste Mal in Frankfurt gerne wieder hier!

The staff were AMAZING! Very kind and helpful. The room, we had 2 twins, was spacious and clean. Bathroom was also very clean and the large tub was great. Their on site parking was why I booked here and it was well worth it! The secured underground garage was a couple doors away from the main hotel entrance, you get the garage code from the front desk and paid them the €20 a night at the end of our stay- the staff was very helpful in finding and navigating it. I'd glady stay here again!!

Ruhiges Zimmer zum Hof, einfacher Priority Check in, gratis Minibar. Sauberes und geräumiges Zimmer. Einzig die TV Programme sollten mal neu einprogrammiert werden. Auf ARD und ZDF liefen Shopping Kanäle ... . Aber Preis - Leistung sensationell!

This hotel conveniently located near the main train station. It has nice amenities with high ceilings. Love the Loccitane shampoo, soap and lotion. Breakfast is good selection. It will be perfect scores if with stronger flow of shower water and good support pillows.

Choix parfait pour un agréable séjour à Francfort ! Bel immeuble ancien situé face à la gare (mais très calme), check-in et check-out simplifiés, personnel souriant et agréable, verre de bienvenue et boissons offertes (dans le hall d'accueil et en mini-bar dans la chambre), petit-déjeuner copieux, varié et très bon... Nous avons eu une chambre très spacieuse (grand volume, belle hauteur de plafond), calme et plaisante ; bonne literie et salle de bains bien équipée. Bref, nous avons tout apprécié, d'autant plus que le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable ! Une excellente adresse à recommander.

Nice hotel in an eclectic neighborhood. Directly across from Frankfurt main station. Mini bar refreshed daily with water, a soda and a beer. Hotel is older but the rooms are large. Bathrooms have been refreshed.

It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Monopol. The staff was really cooperative and welcoming specially the persons on reception in morning and the one in evening were really nice and helpful. They made our stay memorable. Talking about ambiance it was good as well. In short we highly recommend this hotel to upcoming visitors.

From the initial welcome at the front desk to the grandeur of the building, it feels very special staying at the Hotel Monopol. Breakfast was great and the close vicinity to Frankfurt HBf was great. All staff we encountered were polite and welcoming. This is the only hotel in Frankfurt we have chosen to stay in more than once!
