Alles bestens. Das Zimmer war immer sauber, die Putzfeen immer fix. Den Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Es war immer von allem da und wurde auch kurz vor Ende der Frühstückszeit noch aufgefüllt. Zum Frühstück hatte man einen festen Tisch, was ich sehr angenehm fand. Nutzte man abends das Restaurant hatte man Platzwahl. Dieses nutzten wir 2 mal und waren beide male sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und fix bei der Sache. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

We had 2 children 4 and 7. We had a big room on the top floor. The lift stops one floor before. We had a kitchen. The living room was very large. Two beds were placed in a corner for the children. The room had plenty of space. A separate bedroom was also large. The bed mattresses were very good. The apartment was well-kept and up to date. Our 6 day stay included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was very good. Especially if you count up the total cost of the room, restaurant, and free Schwarzwaldcard 4 persons. You may use the ski lifts and entrance for many museums and other activities using the card. The food was nice. We had two main courses, fish meat. If you do not want fish or meat, you can make something else. Before the main course we had soup and before that a salad platter that you can pick your own. Dinner concluded with a simple dessert, but it was nice. Every day we had tasty and different dishes starters, meals, and desserts. The hotel photos provided by the hotel are a little outdated. The hotel appears more modern and better in real life.

This could have been a really excellent experience, but the service really pulled the meal off. Initial service took our order very attentively. Then it was a bit of a wait until our meals came out. They were hot and fresh so I think the kitchen was just backed up. My wife and I had fantastic filets with vegetables, mushrooms, and potatoes. Really a fantastic entree! Unfortunately, once the server dropped off the food, he never returned to the table. He visited each of the tables close to us several times but never returned to ours. We waited for a long time and even tried to get him his attention but were ignored. We thought this may have had something to do with it as we appeared to be the only Americans at the time and had been ignored for so long. By the end of the meal and after being ignored so long my dad felt strongly enough that he didn't want to pay. We stopped at the counter host stand on the way out and paid, but it was a real shame that we didn't have a better experience, especially considering the food was so good.

We frequently use the south of the black forest as our entry point to Zurich Airport. The most recent stay in a motel was unremarkable. The motel is situated behind the church of Schleuchsee. The first impression was encouraging. The typical double room was clean and bright, well furnished, and had a comfortable bed. We were about to discover an avalanche of naysayers. The toilet was distinct from the bathroom and almost the size of an aircraft toilet, without any ventilation. The bathroom also had a lack of ventilation. Wifi is not available in the rooms. There was no kettle for coffee making. The opposite building blocked the lovely view from the balcony. To have some privacy, we had to keep the curtain closed. A gangway on the reception level leads to the standard black forest eatery Schmalztopfle. It was a container of cushions, carton boxes, and sun loungers that gave an unpleasant appearance. The meals were a total failure. Goodwill alone is insufficient to prepare and serve tasty food. The restaurant is run by a different landlord than the hotel. The room cannot charge for meals. The breakfast buffet was ordinary. We lacked freshly prepared eggs. Our request for a softboiled egg was unable to be prepared due to salmonella regulations, and fried eggs are not provided. Using mixed media, the room was superbly decorated, the room was spotless, very peaceful, comfortable beds, a large closet, a toilet independent of the bathroom, and a very secure bicycle storage facility in an underground garage. The bottles of water and wine on the trays, as well as the pretzels and other snacks on the trays, are from the mini bar. The hotel does not adorn presents. Overall, the service is satisfactory and mostly pleasant, but there is nothing extra. For example, the trains went on strike, which is significant for cyclists in a very hilly black forest. We made the last combus from the titis to the Schluchsee, where the motel hotel is located. We would have been stranded and unable to return to the hotel in the dark if otherwise. We had to be informed of the train strike situation because we check out early in the morning and must travel to another area of the black forest. Additionally, nobody ever mentioned the sauna and whirlpool facilities to us. They were provided on a scheduled schedule, but nothing else was mentioned. After reading so excellent reviews about the cuisine, our first night was a huge disappointment. After a delicious salad and soup, what fish we received essentially consisted of very large fish sticks or fish fingers, which had to be frozen and then deep fried. A can of canned

This place has an excellent location and a nice view from the balcony. The room is clean and comfortable. Wifi didn't work anywhere else except in the lobby, and even there there was a weak connection. The breakfast is also not that good.

La chambre était petite mais propre. L'insonorisation est excellente. Le petit déjeuner buffet était tout a fait correct. J'ai pu loger avec mon chien, moyennant un supplément. L'espace bien être avec sauna et jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le parking extérieur ne propose que peu de places et il faut prévoir de se garer ailleurs.

Rien à redire, les deux repas pris au restaurant de l'hôtel étaient excellents, le petit déjeuner pourrait être complété par quelques viennoiseries, sinon RAS. Par contre, l'hôtel dispose d'un SPA, mais qui n'était jamais ouvert, car il fallait réserver la veille….

Hotel ist ziemlich abgewohnt. Tisch auf Zimmer ist fast auseinander gefallen. Gefragt ob alles recht war, wurde nicht. Uns wurden anstatt 2 x 2,70 EUR gleich 4 x 2,70 EUR Kurtaxe abgenommen für nur eine Nacht.
