We returned to this hotel to find that the restaurant is still better than ever. Why? Really fresh food prepared in creative ways that is still approachable and affordable. We ate here 4 out of 5 nights in wanted because my niece fell in love with their salad and my 18 year old nephew loved their meat. Relate and chef Tom made us all feel at home and gave us travel tips that were invaluable. Don't know why others have problems with the restaurant closing on Mondays this is pretty routine anywhere you go. Many restaurants are now closed 2 days a week. Their hours were perfectly reasonable and fit perfectly with our schedules.

We stayed here with our three teenage kids for three days. The location is good, and the host speaks English. The best shower we've had in three weeks of travel with excellent water pressure. The restaurant serves excellent regional cuisine. Highly recommended

The food and atmosphere were again excellent, but it is annoying that customers have to leave the restaurant around 9 am. The zwiebelrostbraten with spaetzle was perfect and very tasty. So were the other meat dishes and salads. They have a fantastic bodensee wine selection and the service is good. Sadly the opening hours are not very customer friendly.
