If you are traveling and have no high expectations, but instead are looking for a pleasant, comfortable place to spend the night, this hotel is the place for you. No chains hotels, basic, spotless accommodations, and nice, courteous employees. Ideal for a quick stay. Because the hotel owns a number of buildings, don't be surprised if you'll be directed to another building. I already stayed in two of them, the rooms are simple and spotless. If you enter the hotel, avoid looking for a receptionist because he is the one you need! Even the most basic things can make a difference.

Located close to many excellent eateries, but it's not too far from the village's central square. 30 meters from the main hotel, where we stayed. The hotel annex's stairs were rather slack and it was difficult to get bike panniers luggage up to the room's top because they were so steep. Clean bathroom with toiletries, a hairdryer, and a decent shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and clean, with good lighting. Nice, safe bike storage and near to a bike path.

We were on our way but had no big hopes, instead we just wanted a quiet, clean room with a bathroom. We got this but some good neighbors, but that is normal on a Saturday night. We were shown to another building which was a bit disappointing, but as the room was clean and nice it didn't make a big difference. Unfortunately they didn't serve dinner, but there were many restaurants near, so we had our mates. The breakfast was exceptionally good.

We were searching for a pleasant place to stay in Matjesherring. This turned out to be a good decision as the hotel itself is very basic but adequate. It's important for us to have a room with easy access and no stairs. This was excellent. We had dinner outside, with a view of the town square, despite the warm weather. The cuisine and local beer were both excellent. With the exception of a bust of king Christian the ith, I didn't see many signs indicating that this once constituted Denmark's kingdom. A hotel and town with a pleasant atmosphere.

Three nights on a business trip, I stayed here. The hotel is located in front of the towns main square. When checking in, the personal desk was kind and quick. Even though the heater was at its lowest temperature at first, the room was clean. The bathroom was clean as well. To be honest, the breakfast was of decent quality and included a few salted foods. Perfect choice for a short stay.
