I just stayed here for one night because one of our offices is close by. Overall, it's a nice hotel with reasonable prices. I arrived late and informed the hotel that I would be later than the maximum check-in time. This was no issue, and they waited for me to arrive. The room was comfortable but felt a bit old. Overall I'd stay here again when I need to go to the Berlin office.

We were traveling to see our neighbor's daughter, who lives nearby, at Hotel Scheneberg. We couldn't have been happier with the setting for us since we enjoy traveling. We had prepurchased a five-day Berlin welcome card for 36 euros, which is a must for the adventurous and a huge money-saver for a variety of attractions. The hotel provides ample information about various excursions and attractions in the lobby. It's a bit dated, but the big and well-equipped rooms are gorgeous. Internet is all fine, but the bar is not offered a wide variety of beer and wine. Excellent breakfast with a decent selection for all tastes. A great selection of nearby restaurants that serves a wide variety of cuisines, such as Mexican, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Italian, Indian, and so on. It's a pleasant neighborhood where we generally enjoyed some excellent food and were generally offered good value. We would without a doubt think returning to Hotel Schieneberg if we visit again on a city trip.

This place was great for a cheap hotel. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Even though we were surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, chemists and a laundromat, it was peaceful at night. Buses and trains were nearby and easy to use. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our internet was terrible and we had to sit in the foyer to use the most basic functions of facebook and email. No chance to stream. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

The schoenberg hotel might surprise you. Its an older building on a busy street in a middleclass, mostly residential neighborhood in the west, a few blocks away from top tourist attractions, but the city hall, or Rathaus, where jak gave his famous speech, is only a few blocks away and worth a visit. The entrance is unspectacular, and reception is up a flight of stairs. The elevator may fit two people. But our room on the third floor was beautiful. high ceilings, older details, spacious windows. A comfortable double bed. Minibar and fridge. Coffee and tea. Large vintage wardrobe, as well as a pants presser. Even with windows open, we could hardly hear the noise although we were facing the busy street, and in case of need, the hotel gave earplugs. The bathroom was fairly contemporary and modern. The large step in tub and the hand held shower arrangement were the only drawbacks. There were not enough secure handholdings to step in and out safely. The tub itself provided a very deep bath. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was fine, and most importantly, the price was reasonable. The San stop is a short walk away, and Friederich Strasse, which will put you in the middle of many things. So, if you want to be a bit adventurous, visit a diverse
