The hotel was absolutely perfect in location, comfort, and the friendliest staff ever. They were helpful, and there pleasantness was enchanting. Ah, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Exquisitely superb ❤️❤️

Hotel right in the heart of rothenburg do tauner. Great location. Breakfast phenomenal. Fresh flowers and lit candles on every table in the morning. Very friendly staff. Only small drawback, no elevator (3 possible floors).

Loved our stay here! We were right in the center of Rothenburg ob der Tauber so everything is just steps away. Super clean room. The amazing staff speaks flawless English and took great care of us including helping with our luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast is varied and ample. The only downsides are due to the fact you are in a medieval town in a medieval updated building hence no elevator and minimal expensive parking.

We had such an amazing stay. The hotel is in the perfect location, so much to see and explore in the little town. The breakfast was delicious, and lots of little extra details were provided, such as sparkling water for our drive. Lovely decor and helpful staff. The only thing we wish, is that we stayed longer. Highly recommend you stay here!

Pristinely clean and well appointed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in was prompt and the breakfast buffet was excellent - special touches like names on the breakfast tables were a unique personal touch. The rooms were spacious, bedding (especially the pillows ) were extremely comfortable. The hotel is half a block from the markt Platz (where the Christkindlmarkt was) and frankly everything within old Rothenburg is a short walk away. exceptional stay !! This will be our first pick when we return (also a small note - no elevators so pack light or ask for help ahead. Strongly recommend this charming hotel.

Parkplätze: wäre nicht schlecht wenn bei Hotelbeschreibung die genaue Adresse vom Parkplatz auch erscheinen würde. Die suche wäre schnelle und einfache, bei so eine Altstadt und Parkmöglichkeiten denke ich wäre des Sinnfoll. Ansonsten war alles supper, weiter zu Empfehlen.

Staf was most helpful. They helped woth the bzgs & alwatys responded to requests. Room was clean, comfortable beds & pillows. Breakfast was so good with a variety of foods. Staff wanted to make sure we had a great stay always with a smile. Located very close to the Christmas Market.

What a wonderful experience we had at Hotel Sonne! Although our friends, my husband and I arrived early, the husband and wife proprietors greeted us warmly, and even had a staff member take our bags up the stairs to our rooms when they were ready. Charming decor throughout the hotel. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable and cozy. Spotless bathroom with excellent water pressure in the shower. Lovely amenities were provided in the room and the bath. Outstanding breakfast was offered each morning. Drinks were available in the evening for a small but reasonable fee. We will always stay at Hotel Sonne in future trips to RodT.
