Our family was visiting for the new year and the days after. We were given a family room that was accommodating, though a bit cramped for space. Were fairly low maintenance, so that wasn't a problem. Both the bathroom and the room were clean. The location was excellent, the potsdamer plate neighborhood is just over the river. Near a metro station. The breakfast was a little pricey, but there was a wide selection and good food. The front desk personnel was incredibly helpful. We needed them to print out tickets for a hockey game and assist us with transportation. A quiet room, of course, except for new years.

It's a great pick at the short end. The personnel were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The beds were a little soft, and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast is fairly simple, but of decent quality, and the coffee was excellent. Additionally, there is a small bar which is provided by the front desk personnel. The central shopping area is about a 30-minute walk away and the location is lovely and serene. Expect not to have the amenities of a four-star hotel since this is a modest pension-style hotel with no gym, spa, or khr reception. On the downside, the entrance is locked at 10:30 pm, but no front-desk personnel. If someone has lost their key and is trying to enter, which happened one evening with continual knocking on the door at night, this becomes a little cumbersome. Otherwise, a great choice!.

Fjord Berlin is a small hotel close to the mite. It is not in the mite, but besides various transportation options, Bradenburg gate is only 20 minutes away. Look for location info with useful tips on their website. The front desk staff was very welcoming, helpful, and responsive. Even before check in, they responded my emails swiftly and positively. We were given detailed information about the hotel and surroundings at check-in. We got very satisfying answers to our inquiries about berlin and other tourist related things. Breakfast was fantastic. If you stay here, you must get breakfast. It is tasty and fresh but also varied and rich. On the last day, we checked out before breakfast service hours and requested a lunch box. They prepared six packages for the two of us. Very thoughtful. It gave us more energy for the lengthy trip ahead. The room was modest as one would expect from a hotel in the city of Berlin. It was clean and well cared for. Heating was adequate. I found the bed soft and the pillow well. It can be me, so I can't say they aren't good. During our short stay, I didn't ask for a change. Every day the room was cleaned.

Very courteous hotel staff. We arrived late so used the safe box outside to get the key, which was very easy to use. I've previously spoken to the hotel to confirm that we would be late due to a late flight, and they explained everything. We stayed for three nights in the smallest room, but it was more than enough for the two of us. The location is great, Berlin has excellent public transportation and there are many connections nearby to anywhere in the city. We visited the christmas markets, and this was the ideal location to get around all of them. The breakfast offers a wide selection of food and caters to all needs, the best part is that it's open until 11 a. M. So you can have extra time to get to bed in the mornings.

The hotel itself is suggested. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Clean, simple, and pleasant little hotel with a great location. Walk to most places and have good connections to public transportation. Parking areas for personal vehicles, per 15 stays. There was no problem with the cancellation. This is a regular problem for the hotel. More like nationality habits and loud voices.
