We absolutely love this hotel because of its location, restaurants, and city. Highly suggest staying in Dinkelsbuhl instead of Rothenburg, which is more crowded and touristy but also excellent! I would recommend going there for a day to see Dinkelsbuhl, but Dinkelsbuhl is a lovely town to stroll through, take in the interesting buildings, eat a delicious meal, and visit the wonderful christmas market in December.

First of all, this is a fourstar hotel. But.. Id give it three stars. Firstly, avoid the hot summer months. We had a premium room, the most expensive and lavish type of room they have. No air conditioning. Very hot and humid air. The windows were south facing, so even after we ripped them open the improvement was minimal. I understand that they are a century protected building. But how about ceiling fans? Or standalone fans? Other than that, the room was very spacious, with a large bathroom and latest amenities. Beautiful decor that is somewhere between ancient and contemporary. The breakfast was another issue I had. It was enormous. That wasnt my problem. Breakfast is between 710 and 7:30 am. If you arrive at 7.30 am, you should expect everything to be ready. Apparently they will provide sausages and eggs and bacon as part of their buffet. When we got there, none of the hot food was in the warmers. And nothing happened after we sat down and began eating and had received our coffee. I went to ask the server, and she answered, that it would be coming out gradually. We are talking about a topoftheasted 4 star hotel on the other hand. So if you are a hotel guest, dont assume youd already have a table for breakfast. At least on Sunday morning, when we were there, the entire front restaurant

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch outside the hotel in a beautiful Dinkelsbuhl. Misses is certainly excellent because there weren't many free places to eat for lunch. Perhaps we will even try dinner there. The prices were very slightly higher than nearby restaurants, but the atmosphere at Misses was better.
