The cascade and surrounding area have been beautifully restored and are sure to be memorable. We didn't stay at the hotel overnight, just came for lunch, which we had thought to enjoy at the beer garden because it was a lovely summer day and we had two young children with us. The beer garden was closed the day we visited. According to signage on outdoor tables, it is not permitted to bring your own beverages and snacks, but to purchase them at the restaurant. It makes sense. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be much interest in inviting visitors. We met a few employees downstairs who passed us. None of them even said hello. Due to our two-year-olds, it was pretty difficult to climb a number of stairs with two young children to the restaurant since there were no drinks to be bought downstairs. It wasn't an option to have our lunch downstairs with the kids and have to move until lunch was ready. We ultimately departed and had lunch somewhere else. There is a lot of marketing materials in the area that praises how family and child-friendly the venue is. Unfortunately, when it comes to customer service, we didn't see any of it. It would be more attractive to keep the beer garden open during the busiest summer period or permit visitors to bring a picnic. Here is a great idea to offer a picnic package.

The location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the room is not clean. There's a variety of animals and play in the outdoors for children. However, the location of the hotel in a small village limits the activities they can do, but there is still some relaxation and peace.

The room is so comfy. It comes with the open windows. The breakfast is amazing. The decoration is very old, with a modern feel. This place is really recommended.

The ideal place for the vacation! The hotel offers rooms inside, as well as huge holiday flats that are located on the top of the mill. Not good enough, boring? Well, they have floating cabinhutten! For the hole family? They're floating in a man-made dam. teach, have no fear of being seasick. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Maybe just see them for breakfast or supper. Wi-fi and ac are strong! With only 225 residents nearby, is this tiny village of Eberstedt. And it's ok to stroll around on the mill you will find many fun things to do for fun! There is a large ball field. There are many animals, although they're in closed areas, and you'll like them. Or what about learning to fish? The best fish are trouts in the dam! remember your fishing gear! Even though I've been there with my grand kids, is it still boring? In the next few days, you can ride bicycles to the best indoor/outdoor pool in Thuringia. The final German wine district sale starts at 3 a.m., and there are some excellent wineries! The fact that these efforts have been put into rehabilitating such an excellent setting is disappointing. It's a good place to be, especially with children who enjoy being close to farm animals and having plenty of room nearby. So we thought it would be the ideal location for a special dinner outing with our parents and our newly born daughter. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we wanted to try the eatery there. When we arrived, the two ground-floor outdoor eating areas were empty, and only a few people were sitting on the restaurant's top-floor balcony. We weren't too interested in climbing 2 flights of stairs to the top restaurant section since our toddler was in her stroller and my father had recently undergone a knee operation. I inquired from the waiters if it would be possible for us to eat at one of the ground level eating areas simply due to accessibility requirements. They were kind enough to check with the kitchen employees while I was waiting at the bar and told them that if they allow it, everyone will want to do the same. That such extensive work has been done to restore such a lovely location and something as accommodating guests with access requirements just falls into the too hard basket. Without a doubt, we skipped dinner.
