I've been staying here for a long time and will never come back again. Upon a steep hill from the city, you will arrive at the Marienturm, with a view of the rudolfstadt valley. Nice cuisine, good service, friendly atmosphere. Then, you can take the stairs to the bar restaurant to get breakfast instead of staying in the hotel. The atmosphere was great.

If you get a room on the hotel's north side, your cozy, peaceful room will have a lovely view of Rudolstadt and the Sale River Valley. In any case, you'll find a wonderful breakfast with rolls, homemade jams, and the tastiest local cold cuts that Thuringia is famous for. Additionally, try to eat dinner there at least once during your stay. The food is German style, heavy on potato dumplings and gravy, and just wonderful.

I stayed here and ate here on a business trip and would definitely go back. I can imagine this place is even better in spring and summer.

This well-appointed hotel is tucked away on a forested ridge just south of lovely Rudolstadt, in a very tranquil setting with north views and good local walking, but only a short drive from town. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, full selection. And the dinner restaurant is also very good, serving local cuisine. Rudolstadt is beautiful, has enough charm, and sights like the castle schools to be interesting but not so touristy. There are some top towns to visit on easy driving to the north, like Gott, effort, wear, and even number. And the Thuringia forest region is spread south. The hotel staff is very friendly. The smoking is a minor problem, like many German hotels. The room is smoke free, in theory.

Where do I begin? I was welcomed warmly and in English, which always helps, and I was led to my spacious, spotless room. For your information, read early reviews about the minibar, which are frequently pricey. The eatery's limited menu, as well as the insufficient cost, ensures that you have access to the freshest local produce from the region. The food is excellent, delectable, and fresh. You are always helped by the welcoming and warm personnel. There are too many options for jams, breads, cereals, and drinks in the breakfast menu, which is excellent. The setting is simply stunning, with lovely woods and a stunning outlook of Rudolstadt and the valley. The tower is admirably kept and beautifully preserved. I was on business rather than on a leisurely trip, but I would unquestionably return for fun, generally speaking, this is the best motel in Rudolstadt and surrounding areas. Each minute I spent here was wonderful, and it made my business trip that much more enjoyable. Bravo, keep up the outstanding work!
