Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Stadt, die Arena, der Hafen sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist überdurchschnittlich gut. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen

Despite the fact that there is no elevator, the rooms are up to three flights above the entrance. The room is quite cool despite unusually hot days because of the open windows. This place is in a wonderful location, a few blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and close to cruise lines. We had bikes, which they kept for us in an inner courtyard. Keep your luggage safe while you are in town after checking out. The place is neat with a comfortable bed and a good breakfast.

In the end, we would return to the Hotel Rabe and thank you for a wonderful visit! We were fortunate to be able to immediately check into our third-floor room after arriving on a Saturday one hour before the start of the check-in. We didn't mind using the stairs because an elderly person with heavy luggage might experience issues due to the absence of an elevator. Our home's back yard was exactly where we had requested it in-place. Although it was a little tiny, the punishment makes excellent use of the available room, so you can stash your baggage and clothing away. The restroom was also spotless and seemed a little more modern. We had a wonderful night of sleep in the cozy double sofa. If you don't leave a window open, there is a sauna-like smell in the room, as other ta reviewers have previously noted. We really didn't mind anything since we were only staying for one night. The following morning, we enjoyed a lovely brunch in the cozy little dining room. You could assist yourself at the buffet to a nice assortment of fresh rolls, bread, jam, eggs, meat, cheese, orange juice, and cereal muesli, as they offered coffee or tea. Overall, the price is very worth it. Given that it was close to the sea, we would have liked some fish for the buffet and possibly a larger selection of juice

The hotel's interior, as other reviewers have noted, is rather old. The room itself was neat, and the location is excellent. The rates were also higher than those at other kill hotels. We parked our bicycles and trailers in the courtyard, and the staff was really friendly, which is not usually the case if you arrive with a lot of luggage for one night. Breakfast was satisfying. Cold cuts, ham, and eggs were delicious. There was not much choice of fresh fruit and vegetables though. For less adventurous travelers looking for affordable central lodging, this is recommended. If you're a light sleeper, request rooms that face the garden as some are facing the street. Good windows, but they do not completely block out traffic noise.

My family and I stayed one night before we boarded our cruise ship. The hotel is a 510 minute walk from the train station. We had checked in and had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs because there was no elevator, we knew this when we made our reservation online. The rooms were basic, with two twin beds, no refrigerator, simple toiletries, and a hairdryer. We were given the key to our room because there was no hotel attendant on after around rp. The key opens the front door to your room. Our one room was overlooking the street and was very noisy all night long. It was murder boat week and many people in town so that night they were yelling, drinking, and destroying property all night long. The hotel itself is acceptable for a night stay, but not for longer. Kill has a wonderful promenade to walk on and an international market on the weekends. All in all, it was a good place to stay for the night, clean, comfortable, and a good breakfast in the morning.

Leider gibt es in diesem Hotel keinen Aufzug und die Zimmer befinden sich ab dem 1. Stock (Altbau). Dies ist in der Hotelbeschreibung nicht vermerkt. Sollte aber explizit erwähnt werden. Die Zimmer waren supersauber, Personal sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbufett ausgezeichnet und vielfältig. Bei ein paar Zimmern befindet sich das Waschbecken im Zimmer und nicht im Bad, da dieses zu klein ist. Manche Gäste mögen dies, aber nicht alle. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und können dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Wir haben zwei schöne Tage in Kiel verbracht. das Zimmer war in einem guten Zustand. Die Möbel sind nicht besonders modern. Das Bad war sauber und in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

A small and clean room, a couple blocks from the Hauptbahnhof. Normal Kiel weather does not make air conditioning necessary, but on the two days in July when I was there, it would have made things more comfortable. The staff was very nice about letting me use the laundry in their basement. Most rooms are up a flight or two of stairs from the ground floor. Breakfast was satisfactory.
