Sehr nette, flexible Rezeption, aber nur zeitweise geöffnet. Z.Zt.(?) kein Restaurant, was bei der Lage sehr schlecht war. Man musste in die Stadt fahren zum Essen. Frühstück war ganz o.k.

Super Frühstück mit tollem Panoramablick. Die Hotelanlage ist weitläufig und etwas spuky. Wir haben lange nach dem Eingang gesucht. Hotelzimmer war verraucht, obwohl ein Nichtraucherzimmer.

Wir empfehlen das Savoy Bad Mergentheim weiter. Es war ruhig, das Zimmer war groß und zweckmäßig, beim Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl, alles hat geschmeckt, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Beanstandungen: lose Steckdose im Flur - wurde nach Beanstandung sofort behoben! Wackliger Stuhl wurde umgehend zur Rep. abgeholt. Aussicht, Zimmer und Betten sehr gut. Anwendumgen bei der Massage super! Frühstück wenig Abwechslung bei der Wurst-und Käseauswahl. Aber unterm Strich waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden gerne wiederkommen!

Wir hatten am selben Tag eine Reservierung über hotels.com vorgenommen, und als wir gegen 21 Uhr im Savoy-Hotel ankamen, war alles verschlossen, und wir fanden keine Informationen darüber, wie wir mit jemandem Kontakt aufnehmen konnten, um unser Zimmer zu bekommen. Nach langem Suchen gelang es uns, mit Hilfe eines anderen Gastes in das Hotel zu gelangen. Danach gelang es uns, mit einem anderen Gast in Kontakt zu treten, der einen Mitarbeiter anrief und es schließlich schaffte, einen Schlüssel zu bekommen. PS: Auf Hotel.com steht nichts darüber, dass man nicht willkommen ist, wenn man nicht bis xx Uhr abends ankommt. Übersetzt mit DeepL.com (kostenlose Version)

Overall alright but there are a few details that make me not recommend this place. There is a fee that has to be paid upon arrival which cannot be paid by card. That could be understandable but not even change do they have. I had to give my 20€ note. I received the comment "you should know that when you travel to another land you should have cash". That finished my patience because this is obviously not necessary in many countries of Europe.

The property is very aged. Our room (junior suite), did not have upholstered armchairs as pictured online but rather very hard and small patio chairs. The shower is in the bathtub and the tub is dangerously high and narrow. No slip protection provided and it was very awkward to get out of the tub. The pressure on the showerhead was close to nothing when warm water was selected. On cold water the pressure was great, but taking a cold shower was not an option. Our counter around the sink was sticky. Room service did not clean the bathroom upon request but provided towels and toilet paper only. When we arrived we also had no choice but to purchase tickets for the Kurpark. This was an additional mandatory expense per receptionist and we were not able to opt out. Entrance for the Kurpark is €2.50 per day. We were charged €28 for 3 days. Our suite was on the 7th floor. There was also the sun terrace. The patio furnitures were not in condition to be used. All of them were damaged in one way or another. On the morning of our departure the elevator did not work. The two of us had 4 suitcases and some smaller luggage as we were in Germany x 4 weeks. As I mentioned before we were on the 7th floor and now we had to drag or heavy luggage to the 3rd floor so we could turn in our key to the cook who was there at 6:30AM preparing breakfast. He assisted us to fully get out of the hotel as reception did not start until 10 AM. The only good thing in this hotel was the breakfast bar.
