Toller Aufenthalt, vielen Dank. Tolles Hotel, tolle Ausstattung, Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt. Kritikpunkte: Die Rezeption sollte rund um die Uhr besetzt sein und die Betten waren ein bisschen zu hart. Der Fernseher müsste so ausgerichtet sein, das man vom Bett aus schauen kann.

Als ich gegen 17 Uhr im Hotel ankam, teilte man mir mit, mein Zimmer habe einen Wasserschaden, und ansonsten seien sie ausgebucht, es gäbe aber ein Schwesterhotel, was sogar noch besser sei und sie würden mich auf ihre Kosten dorthin fahren. Da ich eine Unterkunft brauchte, ließ ich mich zunächst darauf ein. Das Taxi brachte mich in ein Industriegebiet ohne touristische Infrastruktur wie Restaurants, öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Der Höhepunkt war das angebotene Zimmer, winzig und ohne eigenes Bad und WC wie von mir gebucht. Ich verlangte die sofortige Rückfahrt zum Steens Hotel und siehe da plötzlich gab es ein Zimmer, angeblich hätte jemand storniert. Durch dieses Theater verlor ich eine Stunde Zeit und kam mit Verspätung zu meiner Veranstaltung, weswegen ich nach Hamburg kam.

I got a bad start by checkin at 3 pm, hoteldoor was closed and dark inside. I called a couple of numbers that were listed in the door, got answer and help with the second one. A woman came and locked me in, gave me the Key to the front door and room no 9 in fourth floor. understood hardly any english or Herman. But - From then everything was perfect to me. I will not comment the carpets though :-) Room with ok size, good bed, tv, Window to open, big fan/cooler that I did not try, clean bathroom, shower with warm water. everything functioned, and for the price I paid extremely good value. 5 minutes to Hamburg hbf in quiet street (if the neighbour across the street do not start to trim the hedge early in the morningen..) Recomnend it for guests not allergic to stained carpets

90s decor but clean and comfy and a big room for 3 of us. Let us leave baggage all day which was a real bonus. Very close to train station. Would use again.
