Although they're still renovating, the hotel is still in its old style, which is great to see. Excellent old furniture that has been well kept in excellent condition. Beautiful and cozy accommodations. Due to the construction going on around, parking on the street can be a bit challenging, but if you ask ahead, you can hire a space in their secure parking garage.

This must have been a lovely old hotel in its prime. Our accommodation was adequate for one night as we wanted to be close to a cruise ship terminal. It took us about 20 minutes to walk there to carry our luggage. There are many cobblestones along the route, so I would suggest a cab in the future. The reviewers are correct about the church bells, but they didn't worry us at all. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. About 15 minutes walk from here to the fish market and harbor. Only a 5-minute walk from Alton food district. Don't think I would base myself here to explore Hamburg because taking a train would have to happen every day.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It is not close to attractions, but alton station, which is a great transit hub and a stop for many mainline trains, is within walking distance. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean. What I liked most about it was the space to put your luggage, hang up your coat, hang your clothes, and charge your devices. Will stay again.

Thank God, it was just an overnight stay at this hotel. The parking lot is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. If you need to sleep late at night, forget about it. There were so many movements like people dragging heavy furniture. After that, the noise from the construction right outside the hotel begins. In between all these, there are chimes from the church just across the narrow street. When it comes to breakfast, you really don't get much out of it, theres not much there on that little breakfast table. When you need to take a hot shower, the water gets less. The receptionist and young man are very nice and polite. Total price included 8 europa for breakfast and 5 euros for parking. Great value in the middle of Hamburg. Still, it was a nightmare staying at this place, so no chance we'll come back there even for free.
