Book a patio room with a view of the Acropolis - it does not disappoint. The location was perfect; it was easy to walk to different neighborhoods. The room included a mini-fridge, a comfortable bed, and a strong shower. They also partner with the coffee shop across the alley if you pay to include breakfast. I highly recommend Altar Suites!

Excellent location within walking distance of so many things. Because it is so centrally located, it was a little noisy at night. And you can’t access it via car so have to walk with luggage. If you have a lot of luggage this might be an issue. Also, it has a tiny elevator. The hotel is updated with nice finishes. The bed is so comfortable and the linens were very nice. My only criticism would be the bathroom layout. The bathroom is open concept with the sink in the center and no door. On either side is the toilet room and the shower. When you step out of the shower you are in the room. So we had to turn around when the other person came out of the shower. That was the only inconvenient part. Otherwise, the room was very nice with very nice amenities. For the price, I felt it was a value.

De kamer was ruim, smaakvol ingericht en zeer schoon. Zo ook de doucheruimte en het toilet. Bed ruim en comfortabel. De ligging is ideaal: in een van de meest bruisende wijken van Athene met gedurende de dag en ook ‘s avonds veel vertier. Met zicht op de, op loopafstand gelegen, Acropolis. De ontvangst is aller hartelijkst en men is uiterst behulpzaam. Plekken om te ontbijten zijn in de buurt ruim voorhanden want daarin wordt niet voorzien wat geen gemis is. Kortom een absolute aanrader

The car will drop you at the corner of the street and it's a short walk to the property. The breakfast is in partnership with the cafe across the street. It was good breakfast and great coffee. The room was serviced regularly and they gave us early check-in.

An exquisite location, perfectly adjacent to the park and with a better view of Acropolis than the south side. Was within walking distance of all of our attractions, the room was impeccable. The entry way was well marked, well lit and felt safe. The hotel felt well secured and safe. There was indeed some slight noise from the lively streets/bar downstairs as well as church bells/church service held nearby, but was very tolerable and would have been the same if we stayed anywhere else in the local.

A very central location, five minute walk from Monastirakiou square. Plenty of bars and and restaurants within 200 meters. My room was with Acropolis view from tha balcony that was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, the room look very new and was very clean.

The hotel was clean and immediately in the flee market area. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The elevator is a small, but wasn’t an issue. There was some music noise, but wasn’t as bad as reviews from area hotels report. I would stay is this hotel again
