Our stay was fantastic, largely due to the unique room layout, which was perfect for our group of three. Having four twin beds with one in a separate room, a mini-fridge stocked with water, a full bathroom, and an additional separate water closet made for a very convenient setup. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant was another highlight, offering stunning views of the Acropolis. Being able to open the windows and the roof to enjoy the evening air made for a memorable dining experience. The location is truly ideal; we were steps away from Parliament to watch the changing of the guard, and perfectly positioned for wandering through local shops and dining spots. It was a wonderful find, and I can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

With its beautiful rooms, wonderful rooftop restaurant, helpful and friendly staff, and great location, I am so pleased that I chose Astor Hotel. Breakfast had so many delicious choices and the coffee was terrific. For an evening drink there was a great wine menu that also included cocktails. Even mocktails! This hotel treats its guests so well and offered so much in terms of hospitality. I will be back.

The hotel was great and the breakfast was really good. Please understand that this is a city center hotel. Meaning that there will be noise from the road and it can be loud at times. I stayed on Floor #4 and had no issue with noise. But can imagine the the lower floors can be loud if you are a light sleeper. If I visit Athens again, I would not hesitate to stay here.

Everything worked (air conditioning, tv, safe, shower, toilet, hair dryer) and the beds were comfortable. The best part of the stay was the incredible buffet breakfast. And the dining area had an amazing view. My whole family would return in a heartbeat.

This is a very good hotel option within easy walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants. We had two rooms, both of which were well-appointed and exactly as described. The rooftop indoor restaurant offers a nice view of the Acropolis, and the drinks and light bites were enjoyable. We chose not to book the breakfast because, at €22 per person, it seemed a bit expensive. Fortunately, there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants immediately adjacent to the hotel, making it easy to grab breakfast and coffee nearby. The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been if the hotel had a pool. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable experience.
