It was just perfectly located to everything! It was walking distance to the Acropolis (long walk but not far). Very close to a couple other ruins and close to their shopping districts and food. It was part of La Plaka. It was a very quaint, small sweet place. Rooms were very small, but nice bed comfortable.

Location was perfect for dining, shopping and sightseeing. We were amazed to open the front door and be right in middle of it all. I had read reviews that the noise levels would disappear at night, we were there on a Friday night and had our doubts in the evening. However we were pleasantly surprised how well we slept. The noise of the busy city completely goes away at night. Overall the building, room and floor landing was beautiful and the room was nicely stocked with everything we needed and appreciated. The staff in the lounge were lovely and helpful. We will definitely stay again and recommend when in Athens.

fantastic location, possibly the best spot to be in Athens. Short work to Acropolis, with lots of restaurants and eateries with in 200m. Has a lift so stairs arent a problem and staff were super polite, friendly and helpful. Staying here changed my opinion of Athens! Would definetly stay here again was great value.

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located to all that a first time traveler would want to visit/see in Athens. We conveniently took the metro from and to the Airport from this hotel.

Very hip chic decor excellent location close to metro and immaculately clean. Staff is helpful and attentive. Easy walking distance to all sights, restaurants and shopping. Noise ends like clockwork outside at 11:30 pm so easy to get a quiet and peaceful night sleep on a very comfortable bed. And unlike most of Europe they provide facecloths!! :-)

The location is fantastic! The rooms are updated and clean. There is noise at night due to the location, but it did not effect my sleep; the ear plugs provided were great.

Close to all major sites. Easy to get to from the Airport via the subway - 5 min walk. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a 10-15 min walk. Will not go hungry. The staff was very responsive to inquires and answered very quickly before we arrived and helped arrange transfers while there.

Excellent location for shops, historical sights, metro and cafes. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, daily service. The room would be a little compact if there were 3 guest but ideal for 2. Would definitely recommend staying there and if we return to Athens we'll be staying there again

The hotel and staff are excellent. Very central to shopping, restaurants and monuments. With this in mind, note that the area is active and noisy. The hotel graciously provides ear plugs which help tremendously for sleeping.

The staff are excellent. We got to the hotel quite a bit early, but they were able to accommodate and get us in the room about 3 hours before checkin. I'm not going to say that is guaranteed, but if they have the space and your room is ready it seems like they are happy to help. The rooms are comfortable, stylish and exactly what we were looking for to meet our needs. It is about 150-200 meters from the Monastraki metro station and Square. It's about 600 meters to Syntagma Square and Plaka neighborhood. The Acropolis is a short walk from Plaka and worth the stroll to the Acropolis. There's everything you can want or need within walking distance. Take the metro from the airport to Monastraki station and walk to the hotel as it is faster and much cheaper than a Uber or taxi. There are also buses that run very frequently for about 7 euros. The hotel itself is older but has been updated. The soundproofing is not the best, but honestly it was not a problem for us. The my noise stopped about 12-1230 every night and we were usually out and about until then anyway. My only complaint is that the balcony door was stuck and would not open, and I specifically booked a room for the balcony, but it was minor and we didn't even mention it to the staff. For the price and location, this is a wonderful hotel. Note, the hotel itself doesn't have a bar or restaurant so you're going to have to venture out into the neighborhood, oh darn.
