We had a wonderful two-week stay at Ilianthos Village. We had been aware from the beginning that the cuisine would primarily be Cretangreek and be one of the reasons we made the reservation. The food was delicious and had a wide variety changing each day, and was excellent. Although the hotel isn't completely contemporary, it is very pleasant and has large suites with incredibly high hygiene and upkeep throughout. It's difficult to select one individual, but the three younger employees working in the bar and restaurant, Iro, sofia, and Tannis, were outstanding. Everyone on the team was really kind, and it's difficult to pick one individual out, but they were fantastic. The hotel is generally quiet, has a good pool, is close to the beach, and the breeze from the sea is pleasant and soothing. In particular, we encountered some nice visitors from the uk, Denmark, and Sweden. Some of the problems that other reviewers have mentioned weren't present. Not far away are neighborhood bars and restaurants, which we didn't use very often. The new tables in the rooms would be the only thing I would like to improve on. We would definitely consider returning.

The hotel was pleasant, and the staff was wonderful. It's close to everything, and buses change very frequently. The beach and pool were great! The food was delicious, and we had the all-inclusive plan. Ten points go to the water machine where you can fill up your bottles.

My time in August was very enjoyable. All the staff is very kind, the mind makes a lot of effort to arrive every day. The room was spotless. My favorite part was the food, which had a wide selection and was pleasant to drink. We remained only and beer was fine, although I'm not sure why cocktails were not included because there are so many local spirits and one is paid for. A little juggling could be done at the hotel some days a week. The beach is lovely, but it turned out to be extremely expensive! The beach is lovely, but as others have said, the cost of seating around the pool was too high! I do not think there is enough sunbed space because there is no room for a sunbed. Tui should refund the hotel for its client's cost, I use the beach for free because we have paid enough for the trip. The location is fantastic, with many bars and dining options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and a big thank you to the lovely receptionist for putting aside the hard beds, which was a very pleasant stay. I would return if Tui had put up the sunbed for its guests.

The location is excellent, with beaches on one side and high streets on the other. I had a great time with the staff. The room was a little antiquated, but the room was fine. The curtains could use some trimming, but I improvised with hair clips and towels.

We had a four-person suite. We double-checked that everyone had a mattress, so that everyone wouldn't have to sleep on the sofa. But the beds were horrible! My mother didn't slumber for a week! Even my ten-year-old daughter said she couldn't sleep in those beds. Suite was a room. We had two floors and two bathrooms. Excellent air conditioning in the upstairs and downstairs. Good housekeeping, excellent reception, and a lovely pool. Food was a good idea. And the beach was the best at that point. Nevertheless, those beds, gym in the basement was broken..
