I got a lovely hotel from the airport. The condition of the accommodation is clean but basic. They provide a working light in the bathroom. The beach restaurant close to it is good for swimming.

We had scheduled 3 separate one-night stays at leap kuna. The last one was canceled by the hotel because of a health issue a few hours before check-in. We wish the proprietors good health because they are both lovely people! We are a little irritated by the late intimation from Booking Com, which forced us to book an airport hotel to report to our early flight home to the us not 89 was the first of our stays when we landed at athens airport for our 17-day vacation. When we headed down to the house, there was a problem with no one opening the door, making us wait for ten minutes. We saw a key on the back door, opened it and entered, yelled hello, until the caregiver answered, but did not come down to greet us. The owner passed through the front door later, was shocked to see us standing, and yelled at his caregiver. He asked us to wait outside. After he opened the apartment, everything was fine. We drove down from the airport because we had a car. The position was in a peaceful neighborhood and a short distance from the airport. This is a great place to stay if you are searching for a cheap place close to the airport. A traditional apartment with incredibly welcoming hosts who will also provide a transfer to the airport. Spat is also a nice option if you like to experience a more local scene. Recommended dinner at Taka. sleeps 4 2 adults 2 kids, clean and well equipped. However, the pillow was unimpressive, and the air conditioning was not working throughout. The pillows aren't great, so don't expect lavish.

In April 2018, the four of us stayed here for one night. After arriving in Athens, we just booked it as a temporary resting spot, as we needed a place to rest without having to travel into the city. We were given cooking facilities, separate sleeping areas, and a charming little gift in the hotel room. The hostess, who were gracious and had good conversation with us, seemed genuinely interested in our travel plans, were the highlight. They provided us with some travel tips, which were later very useful. Breakfast was provided, and it was a great starting point to the day. We had a good night's sleep. The only minor drawback was that we had to leave the window open to allow for some extra airflow, which produced some street noise. Nothing that disturbed us, but it was noticeable.
