We absolutely loved everything about Onyx. The room was beautiful and modern. The pool area is immaculate and many afternoons were spent here as it's incredibly peaceful. The staff were wonderful and helped organise car hire and taxis efficiently. The breakfast was simple but fresh. The location is perfect if you have your own transport but a little bit of a hike to Fira on foot. Local restaurants and coffee spots are worth a visit. No complaints. We will be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the island.

Brand new hotel located centrally on the island. The Onyx team is absolutely wonderful. Great breakfast, pool side bar and snacks if you want. So clean and so comfortable. Pool is not heated so if the weather is not agreeable it’s pretty cold to be in it. The staff here are outstanding. Would recommend getting a car because locations is isolated from main spots. Drivers are expensive we paid 25€ one way to Fira which is about a 6-8 minute drive. There is a car rental located right at the hotel- Freedom Rentals. Wonderful time in Santorini.

Ord kan ikke beskrive dette fantastiske hotellet, det må oppleves! Fra vi ble hentet på flyplassen til vi ble transportert til havnen for reise videre, følte vi gjestfriheten og den unike servicen fra hele personalet. Katia and Konstantina i resepsjonen var enestående, og de ordnet både transport (eieren Emmanuel kom selv og hentet oss på flyplassen), katamaran-cruise og leiebil for oss, og de ga oss daglig mange tips til severdigheter og gode restauranter. Spyros ved frokosten er et virkelig funn! Buffeten var ikke stor, men den hadde alt hva du trenger for en god start på dagen. Og han fylte hele tiden på med fersk frukt, stekte egg osv. Rengjøringspersonalet gjorde også en fantastisk god jobb. Atmosfæren var virkelig magisk, og dette gjorde vårt 9 dagers opphold på Santorini til en ferie vi aldri vil glemme. Reiser vi tilbake til Santorini en gang, så blir det hit. Til Fira tok det 20-25 minutter å gå. Til bussholdeplass i underkant av 10 min. Fra hotellet kan du se soloppgangen, mens du fra mange restauranter i Fira kan oppleves solnedgangen. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Staff were all lovely and really pleasant and helpful, room was cleaned every day and was immaculate, should you wish to you could have eaten your dinner off the floor it was so well cleaned! We stayed in the modern luxury suite which was fab, staff were being helpful and considerate even before arrival, with good communication ahead of leaving the U.K I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a base to stay while discovering the Island of Santorini. Spiros makes the most perfect eggs consistently for breakfast, thanks Spiros!

The owner and staff were absolutely amazing - kind, helpful, going above and beyond. While the hotel is not in the thick of activity, there are many beautiful views, peaceful mornings and evenings, and it is easily accessible to all areas of the island by car with some walkable. Plenty of free parking is available at the hotel. Cleanliness was top notch as well.

Quiet area and close drive to the towns. Easy check-in and check-out, receptionist was very informative about the area and recommended places to go. Breakfast was very good and the man serving breakfast was very friendly and helpful, would help with anything you needed. (His homemade banana bread was delicious.) Rooms were very clean and modern. Highly recommend!

Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! We were blown away by this hotel. The staff is unbelievable and their service is top notch! The room is immaculate and you are waited on literally hand and foot from the moment you arrive. 10/10 we will be back! Can’t recommend this place more!

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious breakfast made our stay very enjoyable. It was refreshing to see the staff cleaning the pool early in the morning, which showed how well the property is maintained. Although the hotel is a little away from Fira town, it offers excellent value for money. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.

The resort is relatively new and well maintained. The staff was out thoroughly cleaning the facility every morning early. The staff was helpful with getting taxis or anything else that we needed. Everyone was friendly. The daily breakfast was simple and delicious. Would absolutely recommend.

What a charming hotel! We were looking for somewhere to stay proximate to the airport, and easy to travel to/from - and the Onyx was great. From check-in to check-out, Konstantina was a jewel! She not only gave us Upon check-in, Konstantina stepped away from the desk to take us to our room & introduce us to its features - after giving us a map with several recommendations, adding to the list her personal preferences. We so very much enjoyed her dinner recmmendation at Nektar Lounge overlooking the volcano caldera! What a GLORIOUS view - and the food was amazing, served by a very attentive team. Our room was super-clean, the sinks, counters, and fixtures shone - and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was HOT and relaxing! We were so looking forward to soaking in our private hot tub, and were disappointed that it didn’t work despite Konstantina trying to have it serviced. The delightful breakfast bar suited our a-typical American pallettes - with COFFEE, fruit, yogurt, and a very tasty walnut-spice bread on morning! There were eggs and other breads as well as juices - and the server kept the bar area stocked and ready for all comers. Parking seems to always be a problem in Greece, so we used the transportation Konstantina arranged for us, however our family was able to also drop us off and park - which was much appreciated. Although the Onyx is a small business, it was well worth staying in this off-the-beaten-path venue.

Hotel, pool and room were clean. Had the BEST breakfast! We loved it. The distance from the "hot spot" of Fira was a ways away. We had a rental so was no problem.
