The location is perfect to walk around the city and in very quiet area. We had a hot tub and two sunbeds in the big balcony and enjoyed so much! The interiors are beautiful and very clean. Definitely want to come back here.

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans un appartement du PORTA SUITES à HERAKLION. Un peu déçus de prime abord par l'environnement du quartier, nous avons découvert un appart' moderne et super bien entretenu. Peu à l'aise avec la langue anglaise, nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir communiquer avec CELINA qui s'est occupée de notre bien-être durant tout le séjour ... en langue française ! Elle a été aux petits soins pour nous en nous aidant pour tous les problèmes domestiques (mettre notre NETFLIX sur la télé, nous aider pour le fonctionnement du grill électrique, etc ...). Elle nous a été d'un grand secours pour nos déplacements : bus, taxis, etc ... et pour nous conseiller dans nos choix d'excursions. Nous sommes donc enchantés des prestations de cet établissement, mais avons cependant suggéré quelques améliorations pratiques, telles que : - déposer des notices des appareils ménagers, dans toutes les langues des touristes habituels, - ajouter un micro ondes ainsi qu'une poêle type Téfal ou autre, qui puisse cuire des œufs sur le plat sans qu'ils attachent. Les casseroles et sauteuses en inox sont d'une qualité indéniable, mais je vous mets au défi de faire cuire des œufs sur le plat dans une sauteuse en inox ! A noter que nous avons séjourné 2 semaines et que nous sommes des personnes frôlant les 80 ans ! Le problème est bien sûr différent pour les jeunes qui préfèrent prendre tous leurs repas à l'extérieur. Merci à CELINA !!!

Nothing bad to say. It is a perfect stay and has the perfect staff and perfect anemities. Very clean and close to center. The only negative point was they rang on me at 11am sharp to checkout. They ddnt wait 1 minute :) althu the checkin is at 3pm. They werent flexible on this point. However I still rate them 10/10.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Porta Suites. So comfortable and clean and near everything in the center. And the hot tub at the end of the day was the cherry on top. Very nice staff also!

The room was beautiful and in great condition. The staff was extremely helpful, polite and kind to us. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I was disappointed in the hot tub as it was freshly clean but never reached a hot enough temperature to get in and I’m pretty sure half the water leaked out.

Very new and open concept studio with great kitchen. Our suite had an outdoor patio which hot tub so was an amazing stay at the end of a long trip. Very comfortable and great communication. A little hard to find in an alley if you drive but they do provide a secure parking lot.

A very clean hotel with lovely staff! Our room was super clean and spacious, and enjoyed two balconies, one on each side of the room. The main balcony we used was at the back of the hotel with a nicer view, as the front balcony was a bit noisy with shops and directly across from a gym. The area is more of a city vibe, and we were hoping for an island vibe - a bit disappointing but still pretty. We did not get a car, but travel was limited. The closest beach is 20 minutes away, and to take a taxi was 30 euro one way. There is a nice square with food shops about a 15 minute walk away, and some closer food options about a 7 minute walk away. One place we truly enjoyed was Kafenion To Syntagma, which is around the corner from the hotel. The owner was a lovely woman, and the best part of the surrounding area. Overall our stay was great!
