Perfect location along the waterfront. Beautiful room - very well decorated. Easy walk to many restaurants, shops, views. Great view from balcony. Very quiet when you close the windows and turn on A/C so slept very well. Parking limited in the area - if you are staying longer they might let you park behind hotel if there is room. Staff very accommodating.

We highly recommend this hotel. It is in perhaps the best location in Chania, right on the waterfront on the east side of the Venetian harbor, with beautiful views of the sunset, harbor, lighthouse, and marina. The hotel rooms are tastefully and luxuriously decorated, spacious, spotless, and have wonderfully comfortable beds, bedding, and pillows. The ultimate in attention to detail has been put into everything the guest needs from the quality appointments and décor to the windows (which bring in the fresh sea breezes), natural lighting, fixtures, hardwood floors, and many amenities, most especially in the large, luxurious bathroom. The proprietor, Katerina, clearly puts her heart into the place. She helped us with reservations for excursions, rental car, and restaurants. Overall, our stay at the Riviera Suites by far enhanced our Chania experience and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

This upscale boutique hotel has everything anyone needs for a trip to Chania. The staff, location and rooms are outstanding. Katerina went above and beyond by arranging a great olive oil experience.

We loved our stay at Riviera Suites. It was like new and very clean and impeccably finished. Also super convenient to everything in the harbor. The view of the Harbor was amazing. Not a complaint, but you do need to carry your luggage up the stairs as there isn’t an elevator, but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall a fantastic experience.

This property was directly on the harbor with two balconies that overlook the harbor and all the action of Chania and Elia the host gave us some fantastic recommendations for dinner and was always there for our needs. I would have no reservation booking this property if there was higher than 10 star I give it.

I had a sea view suite on the harbor which is beautiful! The staff are 100% accommodating and lovely. No elevator at this hotel so must be able bodied. That’s true of much of Greece.

A wonderful boutique hotel right on the harbor waterfront, within easy walking distance to old town. Nice sunset views of the harbor and lighthouse from balcony. The service from staff was excellent - always going the extra mile.

Absolutely phenomenal hospitality and overall very clean with a welcoming environment. The area around is very easy to walk and sight see as well as get food or shop around. 10/10 recommend!!

I had a wonderful stay here. My room was spacious and beautifully furnished with high end fittings. Great view over the harbour and right in the centre of things. Top class thoughtful service and initiative from Elia for whom nothing was too much trouble. She really made a positive difference to my stay. A five star experience for sure.

We stayed 3 nights on our way to Herkalion, the boutique hotel has 4 rooms only. Our room on the 3rd floor with out balcony but has 2 large windows instead. Hotel doesn’t have elevator, Elia helped carrying our luggage to our room. Although the front desk is not 24/7, Elia was always helpful. Hotel location was walking distance to many restaurants and old town.

Hotel location provided a view of Old Harbour and was beautifully modernized. The building was extremely well maintained and security was exceptional. Two key disadvantage why is not give a 10/10 rating is breakfast buffet that was offered was subpar in comparison to other hotels and surrounding restaurants. Also I had the top floor accommodations and it automatically come with baggage assistance up the stairs verses telling me via email that I had to request it. I booked in January, Email lost and no reminder and no one to take suitcase up three flights of stairs.
