When my wife fell, our trip was halted. We stayed at the Athena Callirhoe Hotel. When we stayed there for the night, the staff went above and beyond to assist us and make us feel at home until my wife was adequate for flying home following an emergency room visit to assess her fall. We had a chance to meet nearly everyone on the hotel staff, and by their excellent service and treatment, we quickly became like family. They were constantly concerned about my wifes health, and we made so many friends at the hotel during our stay that it was memorable for us. I cannot express how grateful we are to all of the hotel employees who treated us so well. Im grateful. The location, food, and views are wonderful, and we would advise this hotel, not just because of the superb hotel staff but also for the amazing location, and superb food weve ever had. My wife and I both commented that the meals were some of the finest Greek cuisine weve ever had! When you visit Athens, we highly advise ensuring that you stay here. From the rooftop restaurant, youll get a fantastic view of the necropolis. Dean I.

The hotel's capacity was fantastic, but if you're searching for luxuries, look elsewhere. As we had been traveling in Greece for eight months, my husband and I stayed here for one night. The employees were all extremely friendly and accommodating, and the location was excellent. But the positive aspects begin there. The motel claims to have four stars for its upscale lodgings, but I didn't notice it. The room was modest and outdated. With a huge sos button in the middle of the headboard, the bed was uncomfortable. The toilet flush required multiple times. The bathtub did not have a stopper, making the shower extremely challenging to enter at 28 weeks pregnant. The restroom also had a sizable porthole privacy window, which allowed you to enter the bathroom from the bedroom, but didn't let light spill into the bedroom in the middle of the night.

The Athens callirhoe Hotel recently hosted two of our own, and we were pleasantly struck by how lovely this hotel is. The front desk is impressive. When we arrived at 130 in the morning, they greeted us with a friendly smile and quickly checked us in. A gentleman took our luggage to our room and explained how everything worked. There are plenty of options for the morning breakfast buffet. They strictly adhere to code of conduct. The first room we stayed in was a corner with 2 single beds and a very large king in the second room. The bathroom was a tidy size with a nice little window. We had a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table that looked out onto the street. The hop on hop off bus is a few blocks away. so simple. To get around some of the attractions, restaurants and shopping are all nearby. We had 2 meals at the rooftop restaurant. At night, the necropolis has a very gorgeous view. The food here was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and the pricing was reasonably priced. The reason we didn't give this a five-star is because the second time we stayed, the room wasn't as nice.. A little smaller and noisier. Additionally, the mattress was small but adequate. It's a pleasant hotel overall and I'd suggest it to others.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, cool retro style, comfortable and inviting. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. The necropolis and plaza are only a short walk away, and the breakfast is excellent with fresh squeezed orange juice. Also, they have gluten-free options, which I love. I was on tour with a band, playing several nights at a local jazz club, and unfortunately, I tested positive for Couid 19 the day before we were supposed to return to New York. My band mates were back, but as per law, I stayed in quarantine in my room for an additional five days. Fortunately, I was able to stay at this hotel rather than a quarantine hotel and didn't have to pack all my belongings and move while not feeling well. They were very strict about maintaining quarantine, the front desk checked in with me every day to see how I was feeling, everyone was so sweet, it was truly amazing. The room service food was delicious. After two vaccinations and a booster, I wasn't really sick, but I had a fever and no energy for four days. It was a human and beautiful experience, and I felt at home and well-cared for. I look forward to returning sometime.
