[Visited out of season, so can't comment on the restaurant and pool (both closed for winter)] The hotel room was good (albeit a bit dated it was clean, spacious, nice big bed), had good amenities (but no coffee/tea in the kitchenette) and the view from the private balcony was very nice - overall a good stay

Acceuil chaleureux. Chambre duplex spacieuse. Décoration tres rustique. Je n ai pas vu de cocktail sur la carte. Bar classique. Limonades "grand mère " à 6 euros ..bof..c est juste de l eau ou soda avec du sirop! Du coup je n ai pas testé le resto.

The staff is very welcoming and help with any questions you might have. The pool is wonderful and a great setting around it. The restaurant on the property is also very good. The WIFI is almost nonexestent around all parts of the property.

Make sure to type in “vasilaras hotel” in maps, using the exact location Expedia gives you will send you to the wrong part of Skala. The service was good and they were accomodating, however the shower didn’t have a stand and the water did not drain from the floor very well. Also, waves of sewerage smell kept appearing in the room, I assume from the drain in the bathroom. Other than that, good place to stay that’s close to the beach and agistri is great regardless.

The hotel is fine. I was looking for best value for money so can't complain really. The room was clean, but felt a little run down. There was bits of plumbing sticking out of the floor in the bathroom and in the bedroom? Just a bit odd. And some of the lights did not work and the safe had no keys/ batteries. The woman who checked me in was very friendly. I ordered one coffee from the cafe and it was terrible and the man was rather rude who made it for me. If you are on a budget, it does the trick and I had a nice time on the island. The beds were very comfortable!

Perfect location 3 minutes from the sea port. Beaches and restaurants withing walking distance. Nice pool and restaurant area in the hotel. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Room was a very good size was sleeping 4 people. Nice balcony. The negatives, not enough amenities..kitchenette had no plates, only 2 glasses and some silverware. The bathroom needs updating, mold on the shower curtain and on the shower floor . Towel rack was broken. Over all it was a pleasant stay. They need to take care the mold though, health hazard.

We booked a superior twin room with a spa bath, for a bit of luxury; I am 65, my friend 69. We arrived early & our room was ready but we gad a double bed, not twin as specified. The manager then produced a trundle bed & considered it resolved. Itvwas very uncomfortable & I barely slept for the 2 night stay. Fittings & fixtures are if poor quality & appear to be badly maintained (eg the light switch fell off as I was leaving the room) there was no slip mat in the bath, no full length mirror, most things mismatched. On the kadt night (yesterday) I used the soa bath & it was only when I stood up to get out I noticed the bathroom was completely flooded, going into the main room too; my flip flops were floating on 2 inches of water together with other items I had left on the bathroom floor. We got reception & after at least half an hour it was under control, mopped etc but the fact remains I could have had a serious accident. Overall, witj the tiredness of the room, non functioning / dangerous facilities & uncomfortable camp bed, this can by no means be considered an average, let alone superior room. The manager was very dismissive when I checked out, offered no apology & seemed convinced that these issues had been resolved; maybe they were in her opinion but not in mine as a paying guest. If I had not paid in advance I would have gone elsewhere, as there were plenty of other rooms available for the same or lower price. I will be looking for at least 50% refund, if not all.

The staff person rolled his eyes at me, interrupted me, and raised his voice at me simply for asking about the dead mouse smell in my room. I had to sneak into the lobby to wait for someone to show up after I messaged using the Expedia messenger and no one came. I left a night early because it was miserable, and have yet to receive any kind of refund.
