Overall a great experience, friendly service, delicious free breakfast, comfortable rooms. The only downside could be that it's a 1015 minute walk from the city center. Other than that my husband and I had a great time here for the weekend!

We stayed for two nights. The location is a bit of a walk from the tourist area, but the price was right, especially the breakfast included. Room is basic and clean. The roof was a nice place to have breakfast and chill in the hammock. Small kinda next door to grab a beer.

It was a wonderful find, especially with the good value. The atmosphere is charming and the central park is a short walk away. The rooftop offers excellent views and a delicious breakfast. There is also an ideal spot to do a solo yoga session in the morning or relax in the hammock while reading a book. Irving provided a wealth of information and assisted me in scheduling all of my tours and provided some excellent recommendations for vegan restaurants in the neighborhood. The onsite craft beer that he sells is the ideal way to honor the return of an eruption hike.

We stayed at this stunning location for 2 nights. We chose a shared bathroom room, which was just right for us, everything worked perfectly. Clean, everywhere, lots of plans and flowers, and we could have breakfast on the patio, which was really cool. Pancakes or local breakfast eggs, beans frijoles, and platoons are available. The fried banana platoons are incredible. Viving is very friendly and helped us with a lot of questions and planning our trip. Thank you very much for your warm welcome and help. The pickup from the Guatemalan airport was perfect and on time. If you don't like walking too much, choose something else. For us, walking was worthwhile, there was silence, no cars, just a birdsong, and it was also safe. I'm so happy to choose Maison bougainvillea.

I have stayed here twice now and this time I had a wonderful time. Everything in antique stores is within walking distance from the city center. Service is excellent and breakfast is also great. Rooftop terrace is a great place to unwind. Irving is also a wonderful host. He is a great person to deal with the antique world and gives excellent suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. When I get a chance, Ill return.
