Beautiful building! Great location. Metro Oktogon is very close to the hotel. Also other t. They have lockers where you can leave your luggage with no extra payment for a few hours. We had a balcony and even though we were facing one of the main avenues it was quiet at night time.

The Oktogon is a beautiful and unique hotel in a great locations. A metro stop is just steps from the entrance and will take you almost to the riverfront in just 4 stops.. Lots of restaurants as well as the Ope ra House and St. Stephens Church are only about a 10 minute walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has lots of great options.

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold og er veldig fornøyde! Hotellet hadde en perfekt beliggenhet med kort avstand til alt vi ønsket å gjøre, noe som gjorde hele turen ekstra enkel og behagelig. Rommet var rent, komfortabelt og hadde alt vi trengte. Personalet var hyggelige, imøtekommende og ga god service gjennom hele oppholdet. Atmosfæren på hotellet var rolig og innbydende, og vi følte oss virkelig godt tatt vare på. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake og kan varmt anbefale hotellet videre!

The hotel was very clean, and the staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine as a welcome gift—something that many hotels don’t offer—which made us feel very special. Since we didn’t open the wine, we left it as a gift for the housekeeper. I also really appreciated having a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. These amenities are quite rare when traveling in Europe, and they were extremely convenient. The hotel’s location right next to the metro made getting around very easy. I would definitely stay at Hotel Oktogon Haggenmacher again and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Staff at the greeting desk and the breakfast are were very friendly and professional. It was on the major street with a few minutes walk to the subway which makes it very convenient to go around the city, and also walkable to Hero Square. We had a room facing the interior (the balcony/hallway); the balcony was not accessible which has made me feel safe. It is very quiet which is very important to me as I am a light sleeper. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety/choices, and a little bit of change every day. The hotel looks exactly like the photos on the website/on Expedia.

Incredible service by Petra and Attila. They gave us all the great restaurants and bakeries and places to go. Thanks for their help with trains !! The sauna was so deluxe: hot and a nice rest area. The breakfast was delicious with fresh squeezed juice. Great pastries. Our room was quiet and the bed was great. Super location with easy walk everywhere. We are coming back .
