We stayed one night at this hotel while traveling from Budapest to Sinti. It was perfect for the transit stop. The hotel owner is friendly and helpful. There was enough room for the luggage in the spacious room, complete with a clean bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were both acceptable, if we requested half board. This is what you might expect from a threestar hotel given the price-per-night ratio. However, don't expect expensive amenities.

No, locals are not friendly unless you pay in cash, local restaurants are not helpful only hungarian menus and limited English I tried to learn German before I went, but to no avail! Machines were cheap and plentiful food, some hotels especially in the southern area, you should put your chair under the door just in case! Other travelers had nothing but praise for the country, but our experience did not live up to this, as everyone tried to take advantage of us in every store. Just stand your ground and pay the prices as shown, there are no more tourist prices since the fall of communism!.

A family-run 3-star hotel, not one of luxury, but with a nice atmosphere. Good restaurant and excellent service. Free bikes from spring to autumn. Excellent wifi. Near the local spa and a small mountain railway open until October 1. Nature is beautiful, and the whole city is beautiful.

The atmosphere is pleasant and of high quality. The staff is pleasant and speaks a variety of languages. We stayed at that restaurant almost every day until we discovered that our beer had been mixed with older beer from the refrigerator. It's a great place to get delicious food, but you must order bottled beer or wine.
