Everything about this property is top notch. Attention to detail was amazing. Elizabeth was super helpful in letting her use her cell phone to make local calls. Breakfast was superb as well. It was a home away from home. You won't regret staying here. Highly recommended.

Propriétaires très sympathiques et aidants. Propre, confortable, super petit dej. Un peu plus d'équipement pour se faire à manger serait souhaitable

This was one of the very best places I've ever stayed while traveling! Our hostess was very kind and the house was very clean and cozy. The room was plenty big enough for our little family, and actually had enough space for a family of five. The price was very reasonable, especially so close to the Golden circle and right off the ring road. The breakfast was hearty and delicious as well! I highly recommend this place to travelers!

Very pleasant stay. Bedroom with 2 twin beds. Common area with small fridge and microwave, bathroom and shower bathroom on upper level. Dining area on main level. Breakfast was fantastic. Lower level has common area with couches and 2 shower rooms, 2 showers for men and 2 women. Horses just outside the property.

This special bed and breakfast is perfectly located to explore southern Iceland. We stayed only one night, but I wish we had stayed three! The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, and the hosts are gracious.

The husband and wife team who own and run this former first prison for women in Iceland were fantastic! They were so helpful and congenial, and the breakfast was wonderful, also! The beds were very comfortable and I highly recommend this location as a must stay.

Clean room and property, with a great breakfast buffet in the morning. I appreciated the common area with a water kettle, fridge, and seating. FYI that guests are asked to take off their shoes and wear slides throughout the property--this isn't something that I had an issue with, just of note. Easy to get to.

What a lovely spot! The owners are delightful and we felt like we were having breakfast in a family kitchen and dining room. Beds were comfy, private bathroom was newly-renovated. Don't miss this gem!

Staff went out of their way to greet us and wake us up to ensure that we saw the northern lights at 11:30 PM. Property was clean, breakfast was delicious and filling for a European B&B. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in this area.

Super fresh breakfast with fish options and fish spreads (that was for me a plus). The owners are super welcoming and friendly. We loved our stay there. I would definitely recommend it!

A wonderful stay just east of Selfoss. Terrific owners, a great breakfast, and a lounge to relax in at night. They even turned off the lights outside overnight so we could get a chance to see the northern lights.
