Talk about eco-friendly, this hotel generates its own electricity from a creek. Ever stay in a sod hotel? U never know the storm outside has 50 mph winds! It was a wonderful stay, very secluded and accomodating. Restaurant was not open in winter, so bring food. Good place to search for the northern lights.

This is a great place to stay just off the ring road between popular tourist destinations. The room was basic but had everything we needed and was very clean. You can't beat it for the price!

This was a very unique area to stay in. So isolated and old world-like. The cottages are set up nicely and the restaurant/central area is cozy with a lovely restaurant. The lamb meat soup was divine!

This was the best stay on our Iceland trip! Great modern and comfy rooms in a quiet lovely area where sheep are roaming around freely. Breakfast was also very good! We were a bit sad when we had to leave after only one night...

Precioso hotel ubicado en medio de una llanura y con vistas a las grandes montañas, habitación cómoda, se accede por carretera de grava bastante buena para vehículo pequeño. comimos cordero buenísimo. hay una cría de zorro ártico por la zona, paraje natural muy aconsejable, y eso que nuestro tiempo no fue el mejor, no puedo imaginar con buen tiempo.

One of our favorite stays as we traveled around Iceland. Nice modern rooms, in a cool location, and the wildlife around the property was unbeatable (the only artic foxes we saw on our trip)

Es war wunderbar, geradezu eine Oase im sonst sehr überlaufenen Island. Alles war gepflegt und geschmackvoll, sogar arktische Füchse konnte man beobachten. Das Restaurant ließ keine Wünsche offen.

La zona muy tranquila. La cabaña preciosa, toda de madera. Las habitaciones con mucho encanto y muy cómodas. Hacia mucho frío en el exterior y fue un placer entrar a la cabaña tan calentita. La cocina compartida tenía de todo y todo muy limpio. El baño también era compartido entre 5 habitaciones que tenía la cabaña. Estancia genial

It was a cute and cozy room. The back door led to an open field with cute little lambs grazing outside. The staff was friendly. The back door lock was broken and that was the only thing we had come up but overall a great stay! Their breakfast was also delicious!

Beautiful experience! We booked the hostel room but we've been upgraded at the same price to an hotel room and it was awesome. Beautiful interior and super comfortable need and bathroom. The landscape that surrounds the property is breathtaking because is placed on a beautiful highland. Every building has grass on the top and made it looks like a fairytale. Very recommended place.

Es ist ein super schöner Ort! Die Zimmer waren sehr modern und schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles sehr wohnlich und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben das Frühstück mit gebucht und haben ein Buffet und selbst gebackenes Brot bekommen. Unser Favorit auf der ganzen Insel.

Looks new inside and rustic outside. Felt like being in a cabin out on a ranch. Walk into a cute living area with help yourself common coffee/ tea area. Rooms have big windows. Easy to find off Ring Road, but in a little unexpected village. Fantastic full breakfast, rustic restaurant also. Rooms are in a building away from main office/ breakfast/ restaurant area, but nice boardwalk connects the two. Highly recommend
