Nice, clean room, lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Plus, a great location that allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted to go.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. They even lent us an adapter when we couldn't locate our own. Check-in/check-out were a breeze. Though the room might be considered basic for some, it was very cozy, very clean, and well kept. We were travelling in a group of 3, which can limit your choices in Reykjavik, but Orkin was perfect for us. Perfect location to walk into downtown. A huge grocery store/Bonus is literally a block away. When hotels offer a free breakfast, this can be hit-and-miss, but that was not the case at Orkin. Breakfast had a great variety of delicious and filling food. Very handy to have a parking lot as well. Great value for price; we would definitely stay again.

A little dated but fantastic location, breakfast, and staff. Rooms are a little older so not pristine, but they are very comfortable.

This was our first stop. We enjoyed the breakfast. The room was as advertised. Hotel was family friendly with piano, ping pong table and axe throwing to entertain. The loft style room made fitting 5 of us in not too tight:

We had a pleasant stay and found the property to be a good base for exploring the area. We stayed in the two-story, five-bed suite, which provided ample space and a comfortable setup for our visit. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was straightforward. We appreciated having hot tea and coffee available throughout the day and night, which was a nice touch. The common areas were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Having access to shared amenities to include a rooftop terrace accessible from the second floor, made the stay convenient without feeling crowded. The location worked well for our travel plans, and the property offered good value for the price. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay, and we would consider staying here again if visiting the area in the future.

Excellently located for a 15 min walk into town. Ensure parking was so houseful. Reception ( especially Evelyn’s) was very helpful. Good beds and a nice breakfast

The parking was right outside the hotel. I like that there was a free breakfast, and that the loft room accommodated our family of 5.
